Andrew Smith sits in the swing of an empty playground.
Think back to your days as a child. Recess was always that moment where you found yourself giddy because for awhile you found yourself free from the rules and restrictions. Sure there were sunny, bright days but unfortunately there were also the days of bad weather. Sometimes the rain seemed to go on forever. But that one day was sunny and bright. You became giddy knowing that your fun would start anew and that nobody, including the authority figures, could stop that fun.
Andrew smirks.
So what does that have to do with anything related to SNW? Since my return I have felt like the kid watching the darkness of the matches that consume the SNW. Blooded Strap Ladder Matches? 10,000 Thumbtacks Submission Match? To me these matches were like thunderstorms and the snow ruining a perfect day of fun.
I felt myself getting angry, knowing that I may have to sell out in order to actually wrestle. I thought I would show everyone what I could do as a real wrestler and the result was ending a man’s career. But it wasn’t enough was it? Just as I felt the dark days would never end, I was ready to admit defeat to Heath. In that moment the sun came out from behind the clouds. And Heath? Well, I’m saving that information for later.
Andrew chuckles.
I know remember what it feels like to be giddy about something you are looking forward to. As each day passes I get more and more excited about Onslaught and how my contract will be signed. So Gordie, if you know what is best for your career, you’ll void the contract you had drawn up and sign this new one. Otherwise you’re career will suffer.
Make the right choice Gordie.
Andrew gets up and leaves as the scene ends.
