...except for the fact that they drew up the schedule for the playoffs and the Nuggets didn't. Not to say Vince doesn't have a right to be mad. His anger is misplaced. again, you've got it wrong. the Nuggets should've informed the NBA that the the arena was already booked. it was the Nuggets job to book the arena, when they had the chance, NOT THE NBA's! it was the Nugget's owner who made the contract, leasing the building to WWE. the Nuggets & their owner are the ones who broke the contract, NOT THE NBA! when you run a sports team, you have to assume that you're going into the playoffs. you don't wait for the playoffs to happen, before booking your home arena. you book the arena long before the season even starts, in assumption that your going to make it. the Nuggets have been in the NBA for a long time now. they should be familiar with how the NBA does the scheduling. if they can't anticipate for circumstances like this, then it's hardly the fault of the NBA. it's not the NBA's fault that the Nuggets owner has no faith in his own team to make it this far. easy concept to understand

Yep, and now we think of the long term problem of this for the people of Denver. Because with a possible law-suit against Kroenke and the fact that it was mainly him that screwed over Vince McMahon, unless Denver has a good secondary venue, theres a chance that Denver won't be on the rotation anymore. Which sucks for Denver fans, but bad business has a way of biting guys in the ass later on.

exactly. you know that when other people book the arena in the future, they'll have to worry about being kicked out for a last minute game. Vince will likely avoid doing business with Kroenke, in the future. good likelihood that he'll let other people know to not do business with Kroenke. no doubt about it, this will bite him in the ass later.

May not suck so much for the actual fans in Denver, as they have the Denver Coliseum. So Vince could just run shows there and not the Pepsi Center. It'll still bite Kroenke in the ass though.
As if the Thuggets don't have enough reasons for people to hate them, this debacle just got them even more hatred, and from posts I've read online at other forums, it seems they're losing local fans over this.

Yeah, well, when you call somebody retarded (in not so many words, but the thought was there) because of his opinions and poke the dog with the stick, you shouldn't be surprised if the dog chooses to bite you.

A contract is a contract.

exactly. you can't just break contracts because of incompetance. nobody would do things for anyone, at all, if contracts could be broken at will.
take this for what you will, but if you're going to let a "thought" bother you, then you need to grow a thicker skin. you'll get eaten up alive in the real world if you don't grow a thicker skin.

I'm locking this thread now to avoid further trouble. Not to mention that potential efedders look at the OOC boards first and when they see drama like this, it makes the fed look bad.
