WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has been in talks with the company about doing some business, which played a part in wanting to refresh the whole Montreal angle in everyone's mind in case he decides to come back for something.
Talks between WWE and Hart may have began when Vickie Guerrero gave her notice. There is nothing on the table as far as expecting something to happen soon or anything agreed to but Hart has been open to returning as a weekly storyline character.
There have been discussions about Hart for years within WWE and in 2006, Vince told the creative team that he and Bret would be doing a street fight on a pay-per-view but at the time, Hart said he wasn't wrestling anymore and obviously it never happened.

with the crappiness of WWE, currently, i'd hate to see Hart tarnish his legacy.

Lawsuit angle. After a long wait, Bret Hart has decided that now is the time to finally sue with a wrongful uh... loss(?) suit in the International Court of Convenient Justice and he becomes half-owner of the WWE, much to the unhappiness of Vincent Kennedy McMahon. Year-long feud, tuxedo match, boom, out, money.
Watch as it happens.

if done right, i could see something like this. it might actually be more entertaining then the Flair/McMahon ownership angle. perhaps this would be the chance to rejuvanate the brand splilts, too.
