For the past few days, the SNW fans have been wondering if Matt Margera's attack of Wench was truly an accident, and what would he really do when it came time for both him and Wench to be in the cage for the War Games match at Summer Bash. In attempt to get some answers, Misty Crawford was granted permission to come over to Matt Margera's house for a special interview.
MISTY
Misty Crawford, here for SNW.com at Matt Margera's house. Matt, thank you for this time.
MATT
No problem.
MISTY
Matt, first things first. This past weekend on Onslaught, you nailed Wench with a reverse jawbreaker. What do you say to your critics who believe that you may have done that on purpose?
Matt sighed, taking a deep breath before answering the question.
MATT
Look, I don't know what else I need to do or say to prove that what happened to Wench was an accident. I never saw her when she was pulling on me. All I knew was that someone was trying to grab me, and in the heat of battle, my first instinct was to defend myself. I felt so devastated when I turned around and saw that it was her.
MISTY
We haven't heard much from you here on SNW.com or on Onslaught. Some people believe that you haven't made much effort to get in touch with Wench.
MATT
I've tried calling her, but every time I do, I keep getting a message that says "this number's been disconnected or is no longer in service." Obviously, I don't have any other numbers to get in touch with her. I've tried calling the numbers of Hellspawn, Gory, Tanya, Dark Sun, but of course they don't answer. I've emailed Wench, but have received no responses from her. So for Hellspawn to say that I don't love her or care about is a bold face lie. And the gall of Hellspawn to say that he cares about Wench. Anybody could see through him and see that his actions are only lip service to brainwash Wench into thinking that he loves her when he doesn't. He only loves to control her. And when you get down to it, Gory seems to be having fun controlling Hellspawn and orchestrating this sick and twisted plot to take over SNW.
MISTY
Now let's talk about the match. When you proposed the match in order to win Wench back, Gordon Heath said that the only the way that he would agree to the match being made was if Wench was on Hellspawn's team, and that you and her would have to fight in the match. Will you be willing to fight Wench in order to keep your co-ownership of the company, and of course win her back?
MATT
You know, I heard what Hellspawn had to say, accusing me of putting my co-ownership of SNW over Wench. He doesn't get it. I'm going to do everything I can to get Wench back. The co-ownership thing, I could care less for at this point. All I want is to be able to be with Wench again.
MISTY
Let's compare the teams if we may. Hellspawn's team is made up of members of the Dark Ones, which include Wench, Nathaniel "Goryokaku" Draven, and Alexander Draven's very disturbed and dangerous alter ego, the Dark Sun. All of them work well as a team, and don't have any animosity. On your team you have Emo Kid, Enigmah, and Silvus. Emo Kid and Enigmah just had a match against each other this past weekend, and Emo Kid has made no bones about hurting Wench.
MATT
When I first assembled my team, I was looking to put together the best team that could win. Silvus' credentials speak for themselves. Not to mention that Hellspawn has never been able to truly beat Silvus one-on-one. Then you have Emo Kid, who has gotten to know Hellspawn during the brief time that Chaos was around. Believe me, that's a valuable asset when it comes time to developing a strategy. Now as for what he's said about hurting Wench is concerned... I only want him to try to win the match, not injure her. I can't promise that I won't slap him around if he gets out of line. And then there's Enigmah, who's cousins to Nathaniel and Alexander and knows them like a book. Again, that's very important. Add Silvus' knowledge of the Dark Ones, and I dare say that I have a great team for the War Games.
