The scene opens on Silvus sat in his chair, the chair itself is now placed outside in an unknown location however the image behind him is one of a vibrant countryside with the occasionally hitchhiker walking past. He seems calm, as though he doesn’t have a single care in the world; he takes in a deep breath, then slowly breathes out.
Silvus: War Games...
Silvus smiles, his right leg begins to start shaking not out of ear but out of excitement as the adrenaline is beginning to rush through his body.
Silvus: Even just saying that name fills me with excitement, the thought of a steel cage trapping me and every opponent in the ring. This is an environment upon which I thrive, the challenge I crave every time I enter a ring. Two Rings, or one ring, it doesn’t bother me but the cage itself sends that shiver of excitement down my spine. I took my time to speak not because I believe I am the best man here not because I believe that what I have to say will be relevant or even register with my enemy, I chose to speak last because I wanted to see to hear what you all had to say, I wanted to know who was excited who held a bit of fear in their heart. Which one of you would be the first to break and which of you would be the first to speak up, I wasn’t surprised to see it was my brother Nathaniel. I can see the interest in his eyes; I can hear the subtle changes in his voice as he feels the thrill of a challenge coming on and I can hear the menace in his voice just at the thought of me being in the ring opposite him, you brother probably want this match more than anything else a chance to prove to the world which of us is truly the greatest fighter you a master of mind games, a man who likes to play games within games, against me a fan favourite and the one man in that ring who thrives and built his career of matches in cages. Perhaps it’s time we settled the score, perhaps it’s time we let the world know what it takes to compete on a higher level, perhaps it’s time you all got to know my darker side.
Silvus takes another deep breath then stands up, he begins to walk slowly down a path the camera follows behind and we can hear Silvus carrying on talking although he doesn’t turn to look a the camera.
Silvus: My partners in this match are indeed an interesting bunch, 2 of which I know well enough to trust whatever the case may be however one of them I have little knowledge on. Matt Margera, I bumped into him in another federation I’ve never partnered up with Matt, not in this kind of situation however we have fought and the advantage of that in this partnership is that I know how he fights I know how he will play this war game, I know what moves he feels he will make simply because I faced him in a match as a complete unknown and I opened his eyes to what wrestling was all about, I showed him how a no-name can come into this business and within weeks have the biggest fan base in wrestling history. I’ve seen Matt’s own popularity fluctuate, I’ve seen some of his wins some of his losses, and like everyone in this business I also have taken losses. I came here because Matt sent me a message saying may have found me a bigger challenge something I never got the chance to have, you see my history has seen me face Hellspawn in 6 matches, 4 of which were single one on ones that ended in my victory, we had one tag match which resulted in Hellspawns Victory but not against me. Then there was Pandora’s match...
Silvus stops walking, and turns around to face the camera, a smile on his face.
Silvus: A beautiful match indeed, 6 opponents trapped in a cage much like the elimination chamber, Me, Hellspawn, Soul Reaper, Alexander Draven and two names not known to SNW. 6 people battling for a shot at that federations top championship. This one match was the reason Matt called me, you see against all the odds, in that Pandora’s match I was the one to take the victory, Hellspawn and my brother Alexander Draven or is it Dark Sun now? Whatever the case both of these men felt the bitter sweet taste of defeat against me, had it not been for Soul Reaper winning a match a week before hand one other name would have been added to that list, and that would be my other brother Nathaniel. You see this little past event gives me an advantage and at the same a disadvantage, I may be comfortable in that match to win perhaps I could take it on my own but then that feeling of being comfortable my lead to my own underestimation of my opponents, a double edged weapon indeed.
Silvus turns around again and carry’s on walking and finds him-self coming into a woodland area.
Silvus: Then we come to Enigmah, my cousin another person I can trust with little question, I know her skills. I know what she’s capable of and I know when and if she needs help. She has been around longer than anyone I can remember, and she has trained with me a lot longer than even my protégé Andy Lionheart. Do I need to say more? Not really, she can speak for herself and she will.
Silvus stops again but doesn’t turn around.
Silvus: This brings me to the person in this team that I can’t trust, a man who allegiance changes quicker than a baby’s diaper. Emo Kid, are you friend or foe? Can I trust you to have my back in this match or are you going to be a weak link? I can’t answer these questions and I won’t even attempt to question your determination to win, but I will say this you on this team to work as a team, you will find that I am a great Ally to have on your side however I have a side that requires me to be more honourable then you. Should you decide to take another swing at my cousin, then you will learn the same way everyone else does that when it comes to fighting I always find away to come out on top and I will repay you for any attack made on my cousin tenfold. You keep yourself in control and you’ll find we will have a team that will be dominating at Summer Bash, you make a mistake and whatever my deal with Matt Margera may be, I will feed you to the Dark Ones myself. You’re the Wild Card, and perhaps it will prove effective, but don’t disappoint me.
Silvus starts walking strolling down a path that can be barely made out.
Silvus: The Dark Ones, yes an old name from my past perhaps history of the team that even Hellspawn and Wench aren’t too familiar with, you see that team when it was first created first dreamt up had three members. The Dark Sun, The Dark Star both names I’m sure you’ll all recognise, as the Dark Sun is Alexander Draven. The Dark Star is indeed Goryokaku or Nathaniel Draven, but the team had a third member and that was me Silvus though at the time I was wrestling under the name of Silver Wolf. I know the belief, and the ambitions of that team a group that had a face, a tweener and a heel as its members; a group who startled their opponents time after time, yet in the end I left, I was offered a career in the UFC and I took it. So the team changed and two months after my career as a professional wrestler began the Dark Ones suddenly re-appeared; then evolved into their current incarnation. Now I could go into more depth but instead let’s talk about my opponents let’s look at who I feel sends the most excitement down my spine.
Silvus laughs for a second or two.
Silvus: Let’s start with Wench an interesting character the permanent slave, and loyal sheep. She won’t take that as an insult because it’s true, she knows in her heart that she doesn’t yearn for freedom she hates having the ability to choose and set her own goals. Wench is the Sheep and her two shepherds Hellspawn and Gory keep her working and happy perhaps it’s fated to be, this match is Matt’s attempt and hope to free Wench from this life to give her a choice but then when she gets the choice will she make the one that makes Matt happy? Or Hellspawn. Will she choose to be a slave all over again because she likes to follow or will she lead and create her own path of destruction? I’m intrigued to know and this curiosity in itself is enough to drive me on in this match I will give Wench the chance of a choice and we will see what she chooses.
Silvus laughs again, before carrying on speaking he stops walking.
Silvus: Then their Dark Sun, ooh I’m sure your excited for this match more than our brother you’ve had the honour and the chance to face me in a match before Dark Sun, you know what it’s like to enter the ring with your bigger brother. You know that when I enter a match your whole experience gets thrown upside down, just as in the Battle Royal you were the last to fall against me, and same with the Pandora’s Match you fell last then. Perhaps this, will strive you on to beat me but then perhaps not I don’t care either way, I do thrive for the challenge and you have a knack for surprising me every time. So until you manage to beat me Dark Sun, I will call you Alexander Draven.... or just Alex for short. So bring all you’ve got Alex, bring your burn, lay with your fire, and show me that you have what it takes to beat your older brother.
Silvus begins walking shaking his head and laughing.
Silvus: Gory, Gory, Gory, the player of mind games the one who wants this chance more than anybody else in the world. You want to beat me more than Dark Sun; more than Hellspawn; after all you always wanted command and you always liked to believe in your ability to out think me to out wrestle me. Well now’s your chance brother let’s see what your really made of, let’s see if your games really work on me if you have the ability to put me in my place. Perhaps it’s time I sorted you out once and for all brother and made you realise that you will never surpass me and I will always be your Achilles heel.
Silvus now finds himself walking into a town, it a vibrant community and cars are passing by some people stop and look at Silvus. Staring and whispering, but he walks on, and begins talking once again.
Silvus: Which brings me to Hellspawn, the real reason I am stepping into that ring at summer bash, if I was to be honest he alone is all I want to face. I don’t care that he thinks, he is being cruel to me and my family, he obviously feels he knows us better than we do, but we thrive on competition and perhaps it’s good business for him but to us it’s just family life if we didn’t fight we wouldn’t grow, it our life style and what we do, you’re not being cruel. Enigmah wants this fight almost as much as me she’s never had the chance to properly face Alex and Gory in their prime and at their most dangerous. So please throw the idea of cruelty out of your head and instead concentrate on what you really feel, you’re more thrilled that I’m in this match because it gives you another chance to try and get that elusive pin from me once again. It seems at onslaught you weren’t capable of pinning me down for the three count. Tell me Hellspawn do you think you’re going to be capable of doing it in the war games, do you feel you can beat me where you never have before because as the score stands I’m still up in this ongoing war. You lucked out, well it wasn’t luck, my brother saved you from losing your belt at onslaught, but this week he will find himself having to fend against more than just me and in a environment I always thrive in. You have never beaten me without a cage Hellspawn and this Summer Bash we will be in a cage, you know as well as I do that this is my style, my home and in my home... I am king.
Silvus stops in front of a gym, enigmah can been seen inside it, stood next to her is Matt Margera, and next to him Emo Kid.
Silvus: Summer Bash will see my retribution come fourth and War Games will leave everyone changed in more ways than one.
The scene fades to black.
Silvus: War Games...
