The scene faded in as Damien walks into the room Hellspawn is in. Hellspawn glanced up at him and grinned. He picked him up. Damien looked at Hellspawn and smiled.
Damien: Picnic, Daddy.
Hellspawn: You want to make some sandwiches and go eat in your tree house?
Damien shook his head.
Damien: No, Daddy. Real picnic to the mountains.
Hellspawn chuckled a bit.
Hellspawn: Okay. We'll go to the mountains.
Damien hopped down and headed out of the room. He stopped in the doorway and turned back to Hellspawn.
Damien: Mommy go too?
Hellspawn looked at his pleading eyes a moment before nodding.
Hellspawn: Yeah, mommy will go too.
Damien: Uncle Gory and Aunt Tanya too?
Hellspawn chuckled and nodded.
Hellspawn: Why don't you go get them?
Damien's eyes lit up as he ran off. Hellspawn shook his head lightly and stood and walked out of the room and down the hall. He stopped at a closed door a moment and paused. He took out his cell phone and placed a phone call before entering the room.
Wench looked up at him as he entered. He looked at her a minute before speaking.
Hellspawn: Damien wants us to all three go on a picnic to the mountains. Get your shoes on and let's go. We'll stop and grab a bucket of chicken on the way so you won't have to worry about making anything.
Wench nodded a bit as she tied her shoes and stood. She moved towards the door. Hellspawn blocked her path and stood in front of her. He lifted her chin so she was looking up at him.
Hellspawn: We have to face each other in the ring again on the 6th, but for now, let's call a truce of sorts.
Wench looked at him a bit confused.
Hellspawn: Damien is up to something.
Wench: What do you mean?
Hellspawn: The whole picnic was his idea. He wanted you to come too.
Wench sighed a bit.
Wench: He's got your sneakiness about him. He's trying to get us back together.
Hellspawn: That's my boy. But you know...perhaps he sees something we don't. Kat...I know you still have feelings for me that you are trying your damndest to bury and keep buried. There's also no denying how I feel about you either.
Let go and let those feelings out and see what happens.
Before Wench could respond Hellspawn leaned down and kissed her possessively. He broke the kiss and stared into her eyes a moment.
Hellspawn: We shouldn't keep Damien waiting. Remember, he has your impatientness.
Wench grinned a bit.
Wench: Hey now...
Hellspawn laughed and stepped out of the room followed by Wench as the scene faded.

The scene faded back in as Wench was putting sunscreen on Damien before leaning back on her elbows on a blanket as Damien played ball with Hellspawn and Gory. She smiled a bit as she watched the two. She had a lot on her mind. Tanya looked over at her and broke the silence.
Tanya: Kat...you really need to wake up here.
Wench looked over to Tanya.
Wench: What do you mean?
Tanya: Look at those two. You are the only ones that see that side of Hellspawn. Kat, he loves you more than life itself. I've seen how you look at him. You still love him as well, don't you?
Wench sighed and glanced at the three playing ball before looking back to Tanya.
Wench: Yeah...truth be told, I do. I thought these feelings were gone, but seeing him again and now living in the same house..they're that much stronger.
Tanya: Let go and give in to them then. Look at how happy Damien is...
Wench: I can't do this for Damien. We tried it before and it didn't work. It has to be because I want to...for me. I just don't want to hurt Matt...
Tanya: Kat, if Matt loved you half as much as Hellspawn does, you wouldn't be in this mess. There's no way in hell Hellspawn would ave placed you in a predicament like this. Hellspawn, wanted the match because he knew you couldn't beat him. He knew it was the only way to get you back. Besides, you need to sort things out before your match.
Tanya looked up and noticed Hellspawn with Damien on his shoulders, and Gory approaching. Hellspawn lifted Damien off and sat him down.
Hellspawn: Let's eat.
Tanya: Why don't you two let Gory and I tend to Damien a bit. You two really need to talk.
Hellspawn looked to Tanya who winked to him. He nodded to her.
Hellspawn: Come on, Kat. Let's go for a walk.
Hellspawn extended his hand to Wench. She looked at it a moment before slipping her hand in his. He pulled her to her feet and the two walked towards a creek as the scene faded.
Damien: Picnic, Daddy.
