OOC: Hellspawn used by permission.
You are waiting on a beach
For a healing word to come
Maybe an apology in a bottle
Maybe a flare that says I'm sorry
And the hurting leaves you numb
Will you forgive?
Will you forget?
Will you live what you know?
He left his rights
Will you leave yours?
You don't understand it
Let it go
You are waiting on a beach
This is where the east meets west
And as another sun sets on your anger
The darkness laughs as the wound destroys
And it turns your prayers to noise
Will you forgive?
Wil you forget?
Will you live what you know?
He left his rights
Will you leave yours?
You won't understand it
Let it go
This bitterness you hide
It seeps into your soul
And it steals your joy
Til it's all you know
Let it go
Matt Margera obviously had been miserable since losing the War Games match at Summer Bash, thus losing his share of SNW and being out of a job. He decided to invite Codi Shane over to his house to help him job search, at least that is what they would tell anybody who would question them as to why Codi was at Matt's house today. Matt went to his room to go find videotapes of all of his past wrestling matches to send to promoters from around the world in hopes of landing some bookings. A knock was heard at the door, and Matt asked Codi to answer it, to which she obliged. She opened the door, and froze like a deer in headlights. Hellspawn, papers in hand, just stood there, grinning from ear to ear. Codi continued to just stand there, frightened at the sight of the new co-owner of SNW. Matt noticed the unusually long silence, so he called out to Codi, asking who was at the door. She said nothing. Matt, worried that something might have happened, ran to the door. He stopped dead in his tracks upon seeing Hellspawn at the door. The look of shock on Matt's face quickly morphed into a look of rage.
MATT MARGERA
Just what in the hell are you doing here?!
HELLSPAWN
I think a better question is what is Codi Shane doing here?
MATT MARGERA
What are you getting at?
HELLSPAWN
Oh come on, Matt! Quit trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and just admit that you and Codi are having an affair.
Matt sneered at Hellspawn, then instructed Codi to leave the two of them alone, giving her permission to go to his office and use his computer, and Codi obliged.
HELLSPAWN
Now where was I? Oh yes, these papers. Matt, Wench's lawyer has drafted these divorce papers. All you have to do is sign them, and both you and Wench can go about your lives.
Matt snatched the papers out of Hellspawn's hands and looked them over. Matt was not amused, and threw them right back at Hellspawn.
HELLSPAWN
C'mon now, Matt. You know deep down that it's over between you and Wench. Just end the suffering for yourself now and sign these papers.
MATT MARGERA
You have a lot of nerve, trying to get me to sign off for a divorce that shouldn't even be happening. A divorce that is the result of your lies and slander!
HELLSPAWN
Excuse me, but who is the one that lets another girl into his house anytime she pleases?
MATT MARGERA
I don't need to explain myself anymore. I already said my piece that Codi is just a friend and nothing has happened. I don't need to continually defend myself.
Hellspawn shook his head, knowing that he had trumped Matt yet again.
HELLSPAWN
Matt, you couldn't beat me in the other promotions that I fought you at, and you couldn't beat me in the War Games. And you'll never be able to beat me, so you might as well sign the divorce papers and move on with your life.
Matt stood there, thinking over what Hellspawn had said. "You'll never beat me" seemed to ring inside his head over and over again. Then, a lightbulb seemed to go off in his head.
MATT MARGERA
Alright, you want me to sign those divorce papers? You sign me to a wrestlers contract. Then, and only then, will I sign those divorce papers. Until then, get out of my face and stay the hell away from my house.
Matt slammed the door in Hellspawn's face. Hellspawn bent down to pick up the papers that Matt threw back at him, and stood there for a moment, thinking about what just happened. Matt refusing to sign the divorce papers, which in a way kept Wench legally bound to him. Hellspawn decided to go back to his place to think about his next move.
