Hey guys,
I know I'm new here, but I've been talking things over with Hollywood, and I've got a few unique skills I think can really help the fed out.
First of all, I'm REALLY good with digital audio. I've been a DJ in my family's business for a long time. So I know my stuff. I've also produced radio dramas and all kinds of audio projects.
I've been involved in countless feds and tried to start my own many-a-time. But this is the first one I've come across that is this similar to the first and best one I ever tried. (RIP WrestlingArmy.)
So I've been thinking to myself: "What can I do, to help this fed?" And I've come up with three projects that Hollywood is interested in, and I hope you might be interested in too.
----------------------
1. SNW Music Anthology:
The Idea here, is to get our theme songs to you, in a format that will allow you to make your own CD album. Meaning, getting our GFX people to do cover art for the front, back, inside, and on the CD itself (For those who have Lightscribe or Printable CDs.)
We would put out as many albums as necessary to get the entire roster's music out there for us to enjoy.
The inside would have details about the company and it's history. And it would be a nice physical copy of something from our fed.
------------------
2. Audio Drama and Radio Theater productions.
I am on a couple of boards with voice actors. And I'm a voice actor myself, I have produced a couple of radio dramas based in wrestling and MMA, and while the concept may sound strange, IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!
So my idea is to make some downloadable CD's like WWE makes DVDs. Chronicling wrestlers, eras, events, ECT.
I'd need some help to do this, but I'd be spearheading the production of the audio-dramas.
(If you want to hear some of my Radio Dramas involving wrestling, PM me and I'll send you the links. I don't want to clog up the board or break any rules.)
-------------------------------
3. SNW Monthly Radio Show.
The plan here would be simply to do a monthly radio show, recapping the month's events. It would involve me hosting the show and possibly having Hollywood as a guest host, or my brother, or it could change month to month or something like that.
We'd also include two guests who would join us via skype, and answer the questions posted on the forum by our listeners in advance.
We would also have monthly awards:
RP of the month, (We summarize it or play it in audio-drama form, and analyze it.)
Character of the month, (Can be wrestler or manager or GM person. We talk about what they've done over the month.)
Moment of the Month, (We re-cap the moment of the month, and talk about it.)
Match of the month, (We summarize the match of the month and analyze the highs and lows. Or we play it in audio-drama form.)
------------------------
So there are my ideas. I personally love how Audio and GFX allow your imagination to be completely free, yet helps tell the story much more than text. And I think the added audio-productions could be a fun project for all of us wannabe producer/writer/gfx types.
But enough of what I think, What do you guys think?
