~Adriana Samu and her good friends Octavia "Rory Kotch" Stephanova and Petrina Rotchester were spotted at TNA's Turning Point PPV. Adriana Samu is friends with many on the TNA roster, including Christian Cage, Petey Williams, and many of the other Canadian wrestlers.
~After Guy's Night Out when Adriana Samu, who is also a big fan of MMA, found out about Brock Lesnar's UFC 91 win, she was very vocal about her disappointment, we are told from backstage sources. Samu has been very critical of Lesnar in the past, calling him a quitter and a big baby for leaving the WWE in the midst of a title run.
~Word backstage is that Samu has been very quiet about her heel change, never giving a straight answer to questions and even refraining from hanging out with Stank Lovve, who Adriana has considered a very good friend in the past. Rumour is that Adriana and Stank are still friends, but that Adriana wants to keep the line between kayfabe and real life somewhat blurred. Samu has been known to do this in the past, openly fighting with the likes of Teddy Hart and Natalie Neidhart in public although they supposedly remain good friends, and purposely bringing up non-kayfabe things in her promos.
~At the same autograph signing session where Adriana Samu shot her promo for Guy's Night Out against Stank Lovve, she was asked by a fan about her good friends Octavia "Rory Kotch" Stephanova and Petrina Rotchester and whether or not they will be joining the SNW roster any time soon. Adriana, of course, did not give a straight answer, but noted that both women are currently working on projects right now (Stephanova and her husband have opened a wrestling school in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, while Rotchester has been doing some acting projects recently). Before dismissing the subject, Adriana told the fans that if they wanted to know if her friends were going to be joining her, all they had to do was pay attention and look for clues, even hinting that Stephanova has already appeared more than once in her promos.
~On a more personal note, Adriana Samu spent a quiet evening with her friends and family on November 14 to celebrate her third year of sobriety. She checked herself into out-patient rehab the day after Eddie Guerrero died after encouragement from the late Scott Anderson. She mentioned this in her promo for Guys Night Out and also performed a small Eddie Guerrero tribute during her match on Saturday Night.
