Alright, now to explain how we came up with the results:
Emo Kid vs Azrael Silvus, kudos on setting the record straight on Azrael's history. Aaron, I give kudos for being able to portray your character of Emo Kid, but I wouldn't be in such a rush to get a promo up next time. That's how it came across anyway.
Enigmah, Criss Cassidy and Kid Thunder vs Omerta and Rick Roll OK, first off, I had to portray the angle that Enigmah, Criss Cassidy and Kid Thunder couldn't get along, and we went with Kid Thunder getting the pinfall over Rick Roll as number one, we didn't want Omerta looking weak going into the title match, and two, Ninja had shown serious improvement with his RP and seems serious about wanting to win the Von Erich Memorial Title at the upcoming PPV.
Speaking of improvement, Darth, you did well as always, and good job at being able to end the promo once you made your point.
Aaron, good job on the comedy involving Omerta trying to teach Rick Roll how to work out. However, points were docked when they had nothing but good things to say about Criss Cassidy. If you've read his past promos, you'd know that he doesn't like anybody. It would be like Edge coming out and cutting this promo about how Triple H is the greatest wrestler to come down the pike. Ain't gonna happen, unless Triple H or Edge make a sudden heel or face turn.
Now having good things to say about Enigmah made sense, as she's a full on face. Enigmah, I can say the same for your RP at Omerta and Rick Roll. And some nice feistiness by having Enigmah say that she wouldn't think twice of decking Rick Roll. And some nice storyline advancement at the end. The one thing I would improve on is to be a bit more aggressive toward Criss Cassidy, as he doesn't like anybody.
Extrano vs Sean O'Brien OK, firstly I apologize if the match was a bit short. The person originally assigned this match wasn't going to be able to write it, so Ninja wrote it at the last minute, but he made sure it was an even match up that would set up nicely for the PPV.
GreenDragon, nice return promo, though I felt you could have had Sean be a bit more heelish. If you need some inspiration, just go to those MMA message boards and see what those twats say about "rasslin" ;D That should give you some material ;D
Fake Dave, kudos on Extrano telling Sean that he knew submissions as well and could wrestle Sean's style of match. I'm looking forward to what the two of you will bring to the table for the Submission Match.
Jack Clinton vs Xavier Cross No brainer here. Xavier no showed without any notice, so he got squashed, and won't be booked until he posts a roleplay in the Character Development board to show us that he's serious about being here.
Freak, nice debut RP. Looking forward to what you'll bring to the table for the First Blood Battle Royal.
Kobra's Law vs Xtreme Team Tough one to call. As you all saw, I turned this into an impromptu six person tag match. The reason being is that I'm going to be trying to encourage people who aren't booked to RP(even though technically they're not required to when not booked), and if they do, then I might put them in as a replacement for someone that no shows. They wouldn't win the match, but they'd get a rematch the following week so that they'd have a fair shot. Or if everyone does show up, and there's room, I could throw the non-booked person into an impromptu match with a jobber, or someone else not booked and have it end in a no contest. Basically, I'm stealing a page out of the old ECW's book.
Anywho, I admit that I laughed at the thought of Xtreme Team burning their marshmellows. I liked that both Syco and Viper brought up their teams' respective past. And I liked Jillie's RP where Samu pissed off her now former fans at an indy show in Canada. In the end, I gave the nod to Xtreme Team as Syco showed that he wanted it a bit more, and wants a shot at those tag titles. But like I said, this was a tough one to call.
Mike Rutherford vs Eric Reynolds Again, this was part of Fawn's angle idea of having Rutherford proclaiming himself to be the hero of SNW, only to fall on his face so to speak and lose to jobbers. Fawn, I laughed at the Abe Lincoln line. The Rutherford promos are coming along nicely. This is a good example of a short RP being good as you made your point and there wasn't really much else to add. Though for bigger matches, you might want to add a bit, obviously.
Hopefully this helps you understand how we came to the results that we did.
