- Vince Bischoff was conspicuous by his absence at the press conference today. When asked about it, all Gordon Heath would say was that Bischoff was away taking care of SNW business. When pressed further about rumors that Vince Bischoff may be selling his shares of Sports Nutz Wrestling, Mr. Heath would only say "we can't confirm nor deny that."
- A big announcement came down today, as Gordon Heath announced that SNW would be presenting WrestleStock live on PPV from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, March 29. "WrestleStock to us will be what WrestleMania is to WWE, and what Starrcade was to the NWA/WCW" touted Mr. Heath. "WrestleStock will be the grandest stage to showcase all of the talent that has worked hard week in and week out to make a Sports Nutz Wrestling the most well known Texas-based wrestling company in the world since the defunct World Class Championship Wrestling." But that was not all, as the night before, March 28 on the CW, SNW will be presenting "The Sportys," SNW's award presentation to reward the talent for their hard work. Categories and nominees will be made public sometime in January.
