That means Jeff Hardy is a Grand Slam Champion, my friends.

I posted this in my column over at dawrestlingboard.com:

Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chris Jericho Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam are the other six Grand Slam winners.

And, FYI, the definition of a Grand Slam Champion is someone that has held:
At least one of either the WWF/E or World Heavyweight Championship
At least one of either the World or WWE Tag Team Championship
The Intercontinental Championship and
The European Championship


And, in case you’re wondering, AJ Styles is a 3 time TNA Triple Crown winner, along with Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. In order to hold that distinction in TNA, a wrestler must hold the NWA/TNA WHC, NWA/TNA Tag Team Title, and the TNA X Division Title.

Kurt Angle is the only person who has done so holding all the titles at once, and is the only person to be a Grand Slam Champ in both WWE and TNA.

FYI, the next time AJ Styles wins the TNA WHC, he will be a 4 time TNA Triple Crown Winner.

You forgot the WCW Grand Slam Champions there, too (which seeing as WWE owns the rights to WCW, they should acknowledge them). I believe that a WCW Grand Slam Champion would have been someone who held the WCW World title, United States title, World Television title and WCW Tag Team titles. Off the top of my head, I can name Sting, Lex Luger, Scott Steiner and Booker T as holding that distinction.

And yeah, congrats to Jeff. His title win is long over due and now, we're living in the Hardy era :-). Jeff is WWE Champion, Matt is ECW Champion, all is right in the universe.

Those stats are actually not listed anywhere I could see. I looked for WCW and ECW. If you find them, please do pass them along!
