HUGE Trios Tournament announced

On May 29th, 30th and 31st a very historic even will take place. 32 Teams of 3 equalling 96 wrestlers will converge in Windsor Ontario, Canada for a special tournament to crown the first Can Am Trios Tournament champions. The even is being promoted by Brady "Red Marvel" Tansley, Scott D'Amore,Adriana Samu and Gordon Heath. But with out further ado lets reveal the first three teams of this tournament.

Team 1: The Crew(Tony,Jack Chuck)
Affiliation:FHT
Bio:This trio of English brawlers have spent the few years in the New York based FHT where they have loaned their services as hired muscle. Though they have not had the best win/loss record but now they have set their eyes on the prize which is winning tournament and proving that they can prove themselves as the brute force team they claim to be.

Team 2:The Wrestlers(Wrestler Uno, Wrestler 2,Wrestler 4)
Affiliation:FHT
Bio:Also hailing from FHT is the cult favourites the Wrestlers. For years FHT fans have enjoyed calling out "TWO" when ever Wrestler 2 has graced the ring, while his cousin Wrestler 4 has always been at his side. But with the recent addition of the latest member of the family Wrestler Uno this past summer the family has crafted itself a hopeful trio. Once again not the most decorated or dominant wrestling family, they hope their hearts and hopefully cult status will get them the biggest win of their careers.

Team 3:HOMO(Help Our Men Organization)(Pixie,Scotty D,Skip)
Bio:Sure to cause a PC uproar this team hails from "The Land of Rainbows" and is sure to be raising some eyebrows with their "unique" in ring techniques and life style choices.Team Captain FCW alumni Pixie contacted the booking for this tournament demanding to be entered on the grounds of equality and to avoid possible legal or political backlash the demand was granted. With Pixie is the self proclaimed "Cutest Couple in Texas" Scotty D and Skip other wise known as SNW's Alternative Lifestylers. Who knows what these three have planned for possible victory of this tournament, but if happens to offend, we are sorry.

Three teams announced, 29 teams to go. The next three teams will be announced Friday March 20th.

(OCC:Its going to be quite the road, but I have gotten 32 teams lined up for this tournament. If your in it, dont say anything just to keep the classic element of suprise. All teams will be announced in the next few weeks, after they are announced 1st round matches will be announced. There is no need to worry about rping and what not, the winners will be decided by me. This is just for fun, and is a new kind of wrestling supershow, to everyone who agreed to be in this tournament, thank you very much.)

Friday March 20:

Team 4:Texas Treats(Joey Spector,Don Juan, Chris Marval)
Affiliation:XCW & RCW(Texas)
Bio:Coming from the independant circuit of Texas comes the ever so arrogant and cocky Texas Treats. Making their names as one of the most dominant and decorated teams in Texas wrestling the Treats are looking to add Canada to their list of conquests. Could this over obnoxious team from the Lone Star state make it through 31 other teams to victory, eithier way the combined ego of this team is sure to be a force to be reckoned with.

Team 5:The Joke Shop(Brad Baxter, Prankster 1, Prankster 2)
Affiliation:FHT
Bio:Not to be known as the most serious of teams in this tournament the Brad Baxter the uncrowned prince of wrestling known for his imitiations of more "famous" wrestlers has had a rocky road in the world of wrestling. But now Baxter hopes that people look past the kidding and the imperssions as he and his team The Prankster Brothers look to score the biggest laugh of them all when they win the tournament.

Team 6:The SNW Broadcast Team(Koko B Ware, Luna Vachon, Jason Martel)
Affiliation:SNW
Bio:Though they have spent the last little while providing either color commentary or backstage reports in the Texas based SNW, their in ring reputations must not be forgotten. Koko B Ware is WWE Hall Of Fame bound, Luna Vachon is a well travelled veteran having competed in WWE,NWA,WCW,ECW, and Jason Martel has been trained by The Sports Nutz and Matt Margera. Together this trio hopes to make everyone realize that even though they are calling the action they haven't forgotten a thing or two about doing what it takes to secure a victory.

Monday March 23rd:

Team 7:Team Mexi Talian(Vinnie Appice,Tony Manzetti,Reynaldo Ortega)
Bio:What happens when you get a dab of Italy with a dash of Mexico, this team ofcourse. Appice and Manzetti known better as the CIA(Completey Italian Americans) will join forces with Mexico's Reynaldo Ortega to remind everyone that their respective countries shouldn't be counted out of the competition. Together this trio has stated that it may not be a Can or Am team that walks out a winner but a more qualified and stronger combination of proud countries.

Team 8:Thunderouge(Alex Daniels, Constantine Ramos,Maxiamilian Cortez)
Bio:"Kid Thunder" Alex Daniels definatley has gained the reputation of the most liked wrestlers in the sport. But when Daniels caught wind of this proposed tournament and heard that his uncle was in charge he like any other brat of a nephew moaned and whined to get his own way which was an entrance into the tournament. Thing is the partners weren't lining up to be on the same team as Daniels. But somehow, someway Daniels found two men, SNW tag team/concession vendors The Sixth Street Assassins, the only reason the Assassins have agreed to side with Daniels is simply the fact that Daniels has promised them that with an event as big as this one that the Assassins will sure to make a nice wad of cash for their concession sales. And in typical KT fasion he's taken assumed leadership of this team and has dubbed the trio Thunderouge and has guaranteed a storm will engulf all that stands in its way.

Team 9:Bains and Brain(Vance Bain, Doug Bain,"Intellectual" Manny Saul)
Affiliation:WRF/Freelance
Bio:When it comes to sibling rivalry the story of Vance and Doug Bain has been an interesting one. The two brothers have battled together and have battled each other but recently things seem to be alright, the two have realized that the family that fights together wins together and have decided to once again be a cohesive unit. And the two have realized what better way then to show that newfoud family strength then by entering themselves into the CAN AM Trios Tournament. But they have not come alone, though there was no other available Bains the two placed a call to their old friend "Intellectual" Manny Saul to form the perfect blend of tag team brawn and and brains.

Team 10:Team BCW(Border City Wrestling)(Scott D'Amore, Joe Doering,Tyson Dux)
Affiliation:Border City Wrestling
Bio:Scott D'Amore is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestling trainers in Canada, his list of students include Edge,Christian,Rhino,Petey Williams,Chris Sabin and Red Ninja. Although he is one of the promoters of the event and the promoter of BCW the main indy fed of the Ontario/Michigan are D'Amore has chosen to not stay on the sidelines and instead has decided to enter himself and two of his prized students into the tournament. Those two students are Joe Doering and Tyson Dux. Doering has made quite the impact in All Japan Pro Wrestling beating practically everybody and even holding the tag team titles with Keiji Mutoh, Doering is now looking to bring that dominance of Japan back to the land where his wrestling career began. Where Doering has conquered Japan, Tyson Dux has travelled over all Canada earning the reputation of one of the best technical wrestlers in the country. Together these three plan to be an agressive welcoming party and defend their turf of the Windsor area against 31 other teams.

Wednesday March 25th:

Team 11:International Playboys(NIN Horror, Fredrico Palmer,Milos Rodin)
Bio:NIN Horror has travelled the world over in his career. He's wrestled in the US,Japan,Mexico,Brazil,Europe,Asia and India, but is now setting his sights on Canada. And practically anywhere the self proclaimed "Greatest Wrestler in the World Today" has gone he's found success, and he promises himself no different in the Great White North. To help acheive this he has recruited a team with international flavour, from Brazil comes the dastardly Fredrico Palmer, and from France is the technically sound Milos Rodin. All three men are known for their wrestling prowess and repeated breaking of the rules. But will cheating and underhand tactics take this trio of International superstars to the top of the pile?

Team 12:Smoked Out(Twitch,Eddy,Johnny Blaze)
Bio:Surely a team of HIGH flyers, The Alley Ratz have decided to join forces with the only man who's high flying daredevil style and "recreational activities" matches their own. That man is Johnny Blaze, all though teaming for the first time, this trio is planning to leave all the competition in a haze. The only question is could this team focus on the goal of winning, or will they be distracted by "other things".

Team 13:Team AMP(Angel-McVicar-Pandora)(Pandora,Angel,Aidan McVicar)
Affiliation:PCW
Bio:Anyone who follows PCW knows that Angel and Pandora are not exactly the best of friends, as a matter of fact the two outright hate each other. They've had some of the most heated and violentest matches in PCW history, but to the shock of many the two have agreed to put aside their differences and join collective forces for the sake of representing their home fed proudly in this tournament. That could leave the third member of the team Aidan McVicar in a possible akward situation. McVicar the sensation from England who has been turning heads in Pennsylvania as of lates might just have to play the role of moderator between these two to make sure their team doesn't fall apart at the seems.

Monday March 30th:

Team 14:Destruction Crew(Super Vader,Killer Kong,Mauler)
Bio:Since arriving on the wrestling scene the Destruction Crew has caused just that, Destruction. This trio knows one thing and thing only, power, there is nothing fancy about this trio, just pure one hundred percent smash mouth style. the question is can this team of brawn get to the top, or will brains prove to be the winner.

Team 15:The Perfect World(Cody Mack,Devin Romo,Scott Modano)
Bio:Cody Mack has a bit to prove to himself and to others. The nephew of Matt Margera is also a student of the Going Nutz Wrestling Academy. Not being one to want to live in the shadow of his uncle Mack decided to captain a trios team with fellow Going Nutz graduates Devin Romo and Scott Modano. What better way to emerge out from under his uncle and form his own name then to win the tournament. But is there alot more these students need to learn before tackling such a goal like that.

Team 16:The Resistance(Rene Dupree, Sylvian Grenier, Rob Conway)
Affiliation:The proud country of France
Bio:No matter which combination it has been over the years, the message and the goals of The Resistance have been clear, superiority of the proud country of France. Rene Dupree and Sylvian Grenier along with French sympothizer Rob Conway contacted CAN AM Trios tournament promoters promising that the French influence will be strongly recognized. The Resistance our former multi time WWE tag team champions, and have beaten many big name stars, could France be home to the winners of this tournament or will someone put this team of Snooty French men into their place.

Friday April 3rd:

Team 17:Chapter 6(Nick Scott, Marcus Williams,Mike Williams)
Bio:Led by the slimy Anthony Spiccoli, the trio of Chapter 6 combines the ever destructive power house tag team of Mike and Marcus Williams with the technical expertise and intensity of "No Gimmicks" Nick Scott. Chapter 6 refers to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and this trio has promised nothing but for any team that stands in there way for victory.

Team 18:The Wrecking Team(Eric Desalve,Dan Unger, Don Taylor)
Bio:Some teams are competing in this tournament for multiple reasons. The Wrecking Team is competing to honor the memory of the late great Scott "CGH" Anderson. Taken from us tragically a few years ago this trio had the honor of being managed by him, and have reunited one more time to honor their late friend.

Team 19:Nightmarish Cross Truth(Criss Cassidy,Harvey Cross,Terrel Taylor)
Bio:Three of the sports up and coming young talent have agreed to team with each other to prove the point that they are the future of the sport. All three men have accomplished levels of fame in their short career, and hope to combine that quick luck to win the tournament.

Friday April 9th:

Team 20:Perfect Destruction(Paul Patterson,Rick Marshall,Mike Hanson)
Bio:When the Destruction Crew was trying to decide which tree of the quartet they did like any other unit would do, they drew straws, Mike Hanson unfortunatley got the short straw. But not wanting to be left out of the action Hanson has decided that if he cant be apart of the Destruction Crew on that weekend he'll form a trio himself. After a few phonecalls he found new allys in Team Perfection Paul Patterson and Rick Marshall, now this team brings a unique blend of brute force and high speed tag team co-ordination.

Team 21:The Saints(Summer Sammartino-Rutherford,Mike Rutherford,Andrew Smith)
Affiliation:PCW
Bio:Summer Sammartino-Rutherford and her husband Mike Rutherford have been one of the most popular and successful couples in wrestling, Summer who operates the Pennsylvania based PCW has decided to be a good will ambassador of her fed and has assembled a team of the two men she trusts the most her husband and his best friend.

Team 22:The Sports Authority(George Dunpork,Craig Mueller,Codi Shane)
Affiliation:SNW
Bio:Gross,vulgar,obscene and successful, those have been words that have been used to described the Sports Nutz. Love them or hate them, there is no disagreeing that the Nutz have been one of the most successful tag team in the sport. But now they turn their eyes the new terrain of trios wrestling, and have found a partner in Codi Shane, the tough as nails girl from Texas. Is the addition of Shane a clever tactic, or just an example of the Nutz pervness, the question shall be answered at the tournament if this time makes it to the finals.

- Many may remember Codi Shane from her brief stints in PCW and SNW. She had been out of action since Natural Selection when she suffered a separated shoulder. She says she is back to 100% and ready to get back into action. The first round match of the tournament will be Codi's first match back since being injured at Natural Selection.

-An update on the situation involving the Destruction Crew. Since Mike Hanson had "drawn the short straw", he had to figure out how he'd still get into the Trios Tournament. After some discussion with the rest of the stable, they remembered a young, upstart tag team that they battled in several NWA territories.

Team Perfection, as they've been called, had signed a full-time contract with much hated rival of the Sports Nuts.....WRF. Team Perfection had been the rare duo to gain any respect from the Destruction Crew, which is why Hanson offered to be their partners.

Wednesday April 15th:

Team 23:3 Of a Kind(Kris Damon,Extrano,Cage)
Bio:Three men all top in their prime athletes, all young and ready for action. Kris Damon with his all around ring superiority, Extrano with his MMA influence and striking, and Cage with his destructive style, together this trio want to prove that they have the tools to act as one and come out on top.

Team 24:Extreme Originals(Sabu,The Sandman,Balls Mahoney)
Bio:This tournament is about to get extreme, for the first time ever on Canadian soil, these three legends of hardcore will come together to prove that their dare devil, chair swinging, singapore caning, table breaking, style is just what it takes to guarnatee a victorious team and remind everyone that they not only originated the extreme style, but the perfected it.

Team 25:The New Breed(Elijah Burke, Kevin Fertig,Monty Brown)
Bio:Upon hearing that a team of "Originals" was entering the tournament, Elijah Burke a man who in another company led a revolution to pathe a new way of extreme wrestling decided to prove once again that the times have changed and that his brand of superstar is what's in. Burke has managed to recruit two other men who shared his beliefs aswell those two are Kevin Fertig the former "Mordecai" and "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown. The New Breed has one goal, to how that they are not only the future of extreme, but the future of wrestling all together.

Team 26:CKD(Akuma Ninja,Matt Margera,Killer)
Bio:After losing his name of Red Ninja, Akuma Ninja has been on a rampage, this rampage includes him starting his own team to enter the tournament and exact revenge on anyone he can get his hands on. Joining him is his long time tag team partner the 6 foot 5 310 pound masked monster Killer and for the first time ever Matt Margera. Together these three have formed the team CKD which stands for Crush Kill Destroy. These three have vowed domination of the tournament and have stated that even though they are a new team, they will have what it takes to come out on top.

Team 27:Reaper's Wrath(Soul Reaper,Wench,Cyanide)
Bio:Soul Reaper one of the most successful wrestlers in the past years has won titles almost everywhere he's gone. Now he turns his eyes to the CAN AM Trios Tournament as an extension of his success. For his partners he has chosen none other then his cousin Cyanide and long time friend the Wench.

Team 28:Crazy 88(Rick O'Shay,Yakuza,Chris Murphy)
Bio:Combining a hard hitting style with fluent team work the Crazy 88 comes to the tournament with only the goal of inflincting strong style pain onto any team that stands in the way. Rick O Shay leads the massive Japanese monster Yakuza and Chris Murphy in the goal of showing just how crazy this team will be.

Team 29:Chick Habit(Addison,Tawny Hardcore,Aneko)
Bio:This trio of beautiful yet deadly women are here to show that to be successful in this business you don't need to be all T and A. All three are dangerous women and should not be taken lightly.

Team 30:The Dravens(Silvus,Goryraku,Alexander Draven)
Bio:The family that fights together stays together is the motto of this team. The three are all ready recognized and respected for their abilities now they have come together to take the tournament by storm.

Team 31:The SINdicate(Viper,Jason Deacon,Chaos)
Bio:One of the most dominating groups in the sport today, The SINdicate has produced some of the most talented wrestlers and produced some awesome results. Led by Viper the powerhouse trio wants to bring a taste of Sin into the tourney and bring home the trophy as a reminder of their dominance.

Team 32:Y'Kores(Adriana Samu,Rory Kotch,Petrina Rochester)
Bio:Girl power is more then enough for this team. Canada's Adriana Samu,Ireland's Petrina Rochester and Russia's Rory Kotch known as Y'Kores will reunite after a few months apart to do what they do best, fight together and come out on top.
