another wrestling death

just found out that Steven Doll (formerly WWF's Steven Dunn) just passed away. he was 44 years old.

for those that don't remember, there was a low card tag team named Well Dunn that wrestled for WWE between 1993-1995. this was 1/2 of the tag team. i think they mostly fought the Bushwackers.

apparently, he was in the hospital for the last 2 years, on life support. had a seizure (caused by intestinal blockage or something) that put him in a coma. his family finally decided to take him off life supports.

I was fortunate enough to get my picture taken with him at an indy show back in '98. Very nice guy, didn't deserve to have this happen to him.

I joked with him about being one half of Well Dunn, and he laughed and said "Yeah, I was the better half."

good to know that he was able to joke about such a shitty character. suppose you need a sense of humor to survive most of the gimmicks that they get.
