this is an idea that i saw at Captain Ass's site that i thought could be interesting to do here. basically, what it involves is showing off pics of your own community. could be pics you find on the web, take with a cellphone camera or what ever else you feel like doing.
pictures can involve showing anything from your own backyard, interesting landmarks........whatever you feel would be interesting.
if anyone is interested in doing this, just post the pics here. depending on how well this goes over, i might post pics, as well.

that's a city hall??? damn........with buildings like that, it's any wonder California is having budget problems. anywho....i'll get to posting stuff from my hometown area. i'll bounce around a few towns, as it's virtually 1 community anyway. looking into Moorhead from Fargo. i think it's on the property of MidAmerica Steel, approximately halfway between the NP Avenue Bridge & Main Avenue Bridge. the tallish white building on the left is part of City Hall, which is attached to the Moorhead Center Mall. the other building (on the right) is obviously US Banks Moorhead Offices. this pic is from the Main Avenue Bridge. can't tell if it's going into or out of Moorhead. spring flooding from April 2006. area was being redeveloped, as it had some old, nasty buildings....which had looked like total shit, to be honest. looks pretty sweet, now. in the background is the old powerplant. it was used primarily by Moorhead, as the have a publicly operated power supply group. now, i think they just by it from someone else, who sells power to them (and the citizens for cheaper rates) going into Fargo from Moorhead, on the same bridge. same as above. a view of a local gas station. views of MSUM. cache.virtualtourist.com/1508979-Campus_View_of_Minnesota_State_University_Moorhead-Moorhead.jpgwww.mnstate.edu/images/EHS%20-%20Safety/Annex%20Building%202.JPG[/img]an area bar. like you didn't expect me to start posting such stuff. Clay County Courthouse. the county welfare building, which is next to the courthouse. used to be a hospital, several decades ago. dad was born there. think his parents died there, too....not sure about that, though.
