Scene opens in the SINdicate locker room. Kobra’s Law is standing front and center with Brenda Price. Viper is standing behind them, and “Everyone’s Favourite Canadian Lady” Adriana Samu is standing to their side holding her pipe and her Rottweiler, Kaos, is sitting patiently beside her. They are all wearing jeans and SINdicate t-shirts. Well, everyone but the dog.
BP: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am here with Kobra’s Law, C-Pac and Doomsday, who are schedule to face Persona in a two on one handicap match this weekend. Gentlemen, I mean no offense, but you’re not really SNW management’s favourite people. How did you score such a sweet deal?
C: It’s simple, Brenda. We may not be anyone’s favourite, but we have Everyone’s Favourite.
BP: Adriana, did you pull some strings to get this match?
AS: Of course I did. Listen, Brenda, I used to be a promoter and booker, myself. I have a natural talent for it, actually – putting together great cards. The only reason I stopped is because I was wasting away my prime years sitting behind a desk. I went to SNW’s top booker and laid out the scenario for him. It was a match too good to refuse. The fans are going to love it, and that means they’re going to buy tickets and turn on the television. This means money in SNW’s pocket. It just so happens that this great match is at a great disadvantage to that Eastern European whore and her little john.
BP: Doomsday, have the SINdicate talked about the plan to neutralize Xander Nova?
D: I can’t see why this would be a problem, Brenda. Xander Nova is one sad old man – rumour has it he is a former wrestler of no particular note. He doesn’t stand a chance against a crafty seven foot SINner and a speedy, fearless Canadian Lady. And that means Kobra’s Law can focus all their attention in the ring - masked bitch doesn’t stand a chance against Kobra’s Law.
Viper nods proudly in the background but says nothing.
BP: I know the focus of this interview is supposed to be on you, Kobra’s Law, but I have a question for Adriana. Recently, some of your former co-workers and roster members have commented on the familiarity of Persona’s in-ring style…
AS: She’s familiar because she’s a rip off of every sometimes-masked, always-quiet mysterious, psychotic wrestler that has ever graced the ring. Kane, Abyss, Suicide and Awesome Kong all follow this oh-so-cliché pattern. She is familiar because she is just not special, Brenda. She may have gotten the upper hand by smoking me from behind with my own pipe, but she won’t have that chance again. I know her game, and she’s going to lose.
BP: Well good luck this weekend, SINdicate, and…
Suddenly, Brenda is interrupted by the SINdicate locker room door bursting open. Persona launches in, letting out a battle cry, and straight at Adriana Samu, knocking her back into the team’s duffle bags. Persona doesn’t let up, mounting Adriana and hitting her with lefts and rights. Viper and Kobra’s Law step toward the two women to help their stable mate but are startled when Xander Nova appears and pulls Viper back and into a smooth inverted DDT. C-Pac focuses on Nova while Doomsday tries to get Persona off Adriana.
Doomsday pulls Persona off Adriana and Adriana leaps to her feet, seemingly unaffected by the beating she just took. She lunges as Persona, sandwiching her between herself and Doomsday. Doomsday looses his balance and goes down, hitting his head on the bench. Nova has meanwhile nailed C-Pac in the gut with a knee and levels him with a low blow.
Adriana and Persona continue brawling, running into anything and everything in the locker room. Persona throws Adriana into the lockers, which dents the one labelled “Viper.” Adriana comes back with several kicks and punches. She nails Persona in the head with a jumping round house kick. Assuming Persona is out, Adriana leans against the lockers in an attempt to get her breath back. She notices Nova approaching her with the pipe in the air, ready to strike. Adriana is so focused on dodging a potential blow she doesn’t notice Persona get up. Persona charges at Adriana suddenly, catching her with a spear, during which she elevates Adriana and plants her on the ground hard with a spinebuster.
Nova and Persona survey the scene. Both of them notice Kaos sitting patiently in the corner, wagging his tail in oblivion. Persona turns to Brenda, who is cowering in the corner, and grabs her by the shoulders, forcing her over in front of the camera. Nova grabs the hand the mic is in and holds it to his mouth, not allowing a very nervous Brenda to escape.
XN: You see this?
Nova motions to the four laid-out members of the SINdicate. Everyone now is stirring except for Adriana.
XN: Vone sad old man and vone measly whore did all this damage. Vhere is the mighty SINdicate now!? Look how this celebrated team has faired against the unstoppable Persona! This is but a taste of vhat is to come, Comrades. Ve varned Viper and Kobra’s Law that Persona had nothink against them and told them not to bother vith us. Persona’s mission is to eliminate from the vorld that vhich she hates – the vanity, self-indulgence, and irresponsibility that Capitalism breeds, personified by Gaspazha Samu herself. But SINdicate have made themselves an obstacle in this mission, and that is vhy they must be eliminated alonk vith their pretty little team mate. There is nothink that vill stop Persona from completink this task, not even a brauny tag team and their crafty seven footer. Gaspazha Samu is goink to be broken in half again, just like she vas now, vith the Carnifex.
Persona taps on Nova’s shoulder and motions to the SINdicate men, who are all trying to get to their feet and shake off the cobwebs. Nova nods almost obediently and turns his attention back to Brenda. He sticks a threatening finger in her face.
XN: You make sure these vorms see this tape, Gaspazha.
Nova snarls in Brenda’s face and lets her go. He leads Persona out of the locker room.
C-Pac, Doomsday and Viper are all on their feet now, surveying the damage.
V: Somebody call a paramedic. Dria’s out.
C (rubbing his groinal area and pulling out his phone): Holy crap. Look what they did to our place!
Doomsday is staring suspiciously at Kaos, who still looks oblivious.
D: This ain't right.
No one comments as the paramedics show up to tend to Adriana and the bump on Doomsday’s head to end the scene.
