While we can't tell you the results of the matches that were taped for Saturday Morning's Main Event(watch it this Saturday morning on the CW!) this past Tuesday night, we can tell you about some matches that took place off camera.
The show kicked off with an untelevised tag team match pitting SINner's Law against the Alley Ratz. SINner's Law used their strength and power advantage to work over the Alley Ratz, but the Ratz continued to fight back with everything they had. Doomsday interfered at one point, and was ejected by referee Danny Travers. The Alley Ratz won after hitting Linkin Strife with the 420 Dropzone.
Winners- Alley Ratz
Time of the match- 9:34
Following the tag match, "The Excellent Gordie" Gordon Heath came out and said that even though Mike Rutherford's match with Nick Scott had been post-poned, he would still see action as he and Andrew Smith would defend the SNW Texas Tag Team Titles against Texas independent wrestlers, Scott McKenzie and Danny Matthews of the Big Time Playaz, who had "The Original Playa" Lance Romance in their corner. With McKenzie and Matthews having never wrestled in SNW, it was obvious that Lance pulled some strings with Gordon Heath for his men to receive a title shot. This does not take away from the fact that McKenzie and Matthews are two of the hottest talents going in the state of Texas right now. McKenzie and Matthews seemed to have had the match won when they nailed Rutherford with their version of the Hart Attack, where Matthews jumped off the top rope and nailed Rutherford with the clothesline as McKenzie held him in position. But Andrew Smith broke up the pin, saving the match for his team. The end came when Lance Romance climbed up to the ring apron and was ready to deliver the knockout punch to Rutherford as McKenzie held him in position. But Rutherford ducked, and Romance nailed McKenzie by mistake. Rutherford then superkicked Romance in the face, knocking him to the floor. Smith knocked Matthews out with an Evenflow DDT, then worked together with Rutherford to finish McKenzie off with the Steel Attack, with Rutherford covering McKenzie for the pinfall victory.
Winners- TNT
Time of the match- 15:21
Up next was the in-ring return of Criss Cassidy, who was booed out of the building as the crowd at one point chanted "GO AWAY! GO AWAY! GO AWAY!" Cassidy's opponent was preliminary wrestler Allen Trebeck, who Cassidy finished off with great ease, nailing him with the Crucifixion. But Cassidy decided to put the exclamation point on the match, climbing to the top turnbuckle, flying off and nailing Trebeck with the Nightmare for the victory.
Winner- Criss Cassidy
Time of the match- 4:18
After that, it was time for intermission, which was then followed by the Saturday Morning's Main Event TV taping. The crowd was raucous throughout the show. Before they could leave after the final match of the taping, ring announcer Monica Deluca reminded the fans to stay put as there was a dark match main event to follow. The match pitted Hellspawn against Chris Angel in a Light Tube Deathmatch. These two tore each other apart, literally, smashing each other with the light tubes, and cutting each other with the sharp, broken edges. Hellspawn finally ended the match after nailing Angel with the Hell's Drop through the Devil's Bunk Beds, which were two tables he stacked on top of each other in the ring, with light tubes and barbed wire all tangled up on the tables.
Winner- Hellspawn
Time of the match- 11:43
