An hour before the first event fans were treated to a meet and greet with the participating teams of Night One of the CAN AM Trios Tournament.
Night 1:
Opening Ceremonies:
Ring Announcer Sally Barnes introduced Brady "Red Marvel" Tansley. Tansley came to the ring to a great ovation and thanked everyone for their support of the event. Brady acknowledged that fans had converged from Ontario,Quebec, New York, Philidelphia and even Texas to witness this historic event. Brady then thanked the people who had helped him organize this event and promised that the fans would be subjected to three nights of phenomenal wrestling action. Brady then passed the mic back to Sally who then introduced the teams that would be participating in the first night. The teams posed for a picture then left the ring as Sally introduced the first first round match.
Opening Round Match 1:
HOMO(Help Our Men Organization)(Pixie,Scotty D and Skip) vs Y'Kores(Adriana Samu,Rory Kotch and Petrina Rochester.)
Pixie led Scotty D and Skip to the ring and engaged in a "unique" ring entrance that left many of the male fans in the front row very uneasy. Soon however "I Love Myself Today" hit as the crowd erupted for the arrival of Adriana Samu,Rory Kotch and Petrina Rochester. Kotch and Skip started the match off. Skip tried to outwrestle Kotch but was unsuprisingly owned. Skip tagged in Scotty D who tried to exchange chops with Kotch but was sent packing with an almost red chest. Kotch tagged in Petey who took on Pixie. Petey held her own but after a mistake she found herself being triple teamed. Scotty D and Skip scored a nearfall with a Double Gordbuster then tagged in Pixie. Pixie went for a Top Rope Splash but Petey moved out of the way. Petey made it to her side of the ring and tagged in Dria. Dria came in a house on fire taking out Skip with a Spin Wheel Kick then hit Scotty D with an Enziguri. Pixie took a swing at Dria but Dria duck and gave him the People's Pleaser. Dria then tripped Pixie to the mat then attempted the SHARPSHOOTAH but it was broken up by Scotty D. Kotch then entered the ring and took Scotty D out with a big spear. Petrina then regained her senses and delivered a big DDT to Skip taking him down. Pixie attacked Dria from behind and sent her to the ring apron but took his eyes off of her to cheap shot Kotch. When Pixie turned back to Dria he was clobbered with a Springboard Tornado Kick that got the three count.

Opening Round Match 2:
The Sports Authority(Craig Mueller, George Dunpork and Codi Shane) w/ Gordon Heath vs The SNW Broadcast Team(Koko B Ware,Luna Vachon and Jason Martel)
Koko sported a "WWE Hall Of Fame 2009" T Shirt. Luna and Shane squared off first. Shane tried to hold her own but was soon on the receiving end of a sitout powerbomb that almost got a pin fall. Shane poked Luna in the eyes then made a tag to Dunpork. Dunpork entered the ring and tried a Clothesline but Luna ducked and decked him with a big Forearm sending the big man staggering. Luna then tagged in Koko who went to work with a series of right hands knocking Dunpork to the mat. Mueller tried entering the ring but was met with a series of hard right hands himself. Shane tried to re enter the ring but Koko side stepped and allowed Luna to knock Shane to the mat. Eventually it was the ring rusted Jason Martel who found himself in trouble falling prey to the Nutz underhanded tactics that included choking with the tag rope and double teaming behind the ref's back. Martel was able to reverse a Mueller spinebuster attempt into a DDT and made the tag to Koko. Koko entered the ring and cleaned house. Koko set Mueller up for the Ghostbuster but was low blowed by Dunpork. Luna entered the ring and applied the Testicular Claw on Mueller then another Claw on Dunpork. A distraction by Gordon Heath led Codi shane to wrap a chain around her fist and hit Luna in the back of the head with it getting the pinfall for her team.

Opening Round Match 3:
Bains and Brain(Vance Bain,Doug Bain and Manny Saul) vs The Wrestlers(Wrestler Uno, Wrestler 2 and Wrestler 4.)
Saul told the Bains to let him go first. Bain met with Wrestler 2 and after an exchange took him down with a Back Elbow smash. Saul worked Wrestler 2 over a bit with a face rake across the ropes and a blatant choke in the corner. But after a misfire which saw Wrestler 2 drop him with a big Scoop Slap Saul ran to his corner to tag in Doug Bain. Doug entered the ring and took Wrestler 2 down with a Back Suplex but Doug turned his back for a second as the two other similar dressed Wrestlers entered the ring and laid on the mat playing possum confusing Doug as to which one was the one he was facing off against. After a few moments of confusin Wrestler 2 rolled him up with a Small Package which got a two count. Soon Wrestler 4 came in but was soon on the receiving end of a Double Back Body Drop by both Brain Brothers. Vance tried a Neckbreaker that got a close two count but soon Wrestler 4 suprised him and locked him in the FIGURE FOUR which got a lot of "WOO" calls from the crowd. Vance was able to counter and soon took the fight back to the Wrestlers. After a brief pier six break down Doug hit Wrestler Uno with the Bain Killer but Saul made a blind tag and snuck in scoring the pinfall.

Opening Round Match 4:
Chapter 6(Nick Scott,Mike Williams and Marcus Williams) w/ Anthony Spicolli vs The Perfect World(Cody Mack, Devin Romo and Scott Modano)
Anthony Spicolli took the mic and made a plea with the remaining teams to turn back and go home because he didn't to catch to much heat for managing the team that put so many wrestling superstars on the shelf. Chapter 6 then blindsinded the Perfect World but after a triple reversal of an Irish Whip attempt that sent all three Chapter 6 members crashing into each other followed by some Triple Dropkicks Chapter 6 was sent reeling. Spicolli called his team over for a group huddle but were soon taken out by flying suicide dives from all three Perfect World members. After some brawling on the floor Mack rolled Scott into the ring. Scott tried to beg for some mercy but Mack was having none of it and pulled him to his feet pounding him with right hands. On the outside the Williams brothers got the better of Remo and Modano. Mack went to the ropes to attempt a move but had his legs tripped by Spicolli. Mack got to his feet but walked right into an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex from Scott. Scott tagged in Mike Williams who tried to keep Mack down but Mack fought back with a high kick to the head followed by a Bulldog Romo and Modano reached out for a tag but Scott and Marcus Williams ran over to the other side and pulled their feet from under them sending them face first into the ring apron. Mike Williams was then able to suprise Mack with a hard Side Kick to the head. Mack showed great strength by kicking out of a Spike Piledriver from the Williams and a Vicious Release German Suplex from Scott. Scott tried a Tazzmission but Mack ran forward and slammed Scott's face into the top turnbuckle breaking the hold. Mack got to his side of the ring and tagged in Modano who nailed a perfect Springboard Block Buster on Scott. Modano then hit a Double Dropsault on both Williams Brothers. Modano then tried a Hurracanrana Pin on Scott but it got a two count. Romo then came in and hit a beautiful Titl a Whirl Crossbody on the Williams. Things soon got out of hand as Mack and Modano took the Williams Brothers over the ropes and to the floor. Romo climbed up to the top rope but Scott crotched him on the top and hit an Avalanche T Bone Suplex for the pinfall.

Opening Round Match 5:
Chick Habit(Addison,Aneko, Tawny Hardcore) vs The Texas Treats(Don Juan, Chris Marvel and Joey Spector.)
Before the match could get under way Don Juan took the mic and asked the three ladies of Chick Habit if they really wanted to fight or did they want to open their eyes and gaze upon the three sexiest men to grace the ring this weekend. After a hard slap to the face of Juan from Addison the answer was clear. The Treats tried to advance on the girls but were side stepped and met with three hard slaps across the face. The Treats took a second to the check with each other if their faces were still alright. Don Juan tried to attack Tawny Hardcore but was suprised with a Samoan Drop. Aneko and Addison took down Marval and Spector as Hardcore climbed the top rope and flew off with a Moonsault getting the quick pinfall on Juan.
Winners:Chick Habit.
Opening Round Match 6:
3 Of A Kind(Kris Damon,Extrano and Cage) vs The Joke Shop(Brad Baxter,Prankster 1 and Prankster 2)
"Freebird" played over the stereo as Brad Baxter and The Prankster Brothers emerged from the back. Baxter and Prankster 1 sported long blonde wigs and Blue Wrestling Trunks as Prankster 2 sported a long Brown Wig and Blue Wrestling Trunks. Baxter grabbed the mic and introduced the three members as Bradley "PS" Baxter, Prankster "Jack" 1, and Prankster "Bamm Bamm" 2. The three promised to bring the Trophy to Bradstreet USA. Their opponents Kris Damon, Extrano and Cage hit the scene ready for action. Extrano started off for his team against Prankster 2 who was trying to channel the brute force of the late great Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy but Extrano's MMA proved to much and Prankster 2 found himself the victim of a Double Leg Take Down and a Knee Bar attempt that was broken up by Baxter. Damon soon came in and kept control of Prankster 2 with an Armbar then a takeover. Prankster two was able to fight up to his feet and tried a Back Drop Driver but Damon landed on his feet but Prankster 2 tagged Prankster 1. Prankster 1 gorded Damon on then ran out of the ring and started doing circles around the ring hoping to set Damon up for a sneak attack but Damon never even took off after Prankster 1. Damon tagged in Cage who soon faced off against Baxter. Baxter bailed out to the floor to yell at the fans as Cage stood in the ring unimpressed. Baxter entered the ring and tried handling Cage's unpredictable style but soon found himself on the receiving end of a Missle Dropkick for a close pinfall. From then on 3OAK were able to keep the Joke Shop at bay until an Eye gouge from Prankster 1 led to a Back Drop Driver from Prankster 2 on Extrano which got a close pinfall. 3OAK were able to recover and after Extrano trapped Prankster 1 in a Rear Naked Choke and Cage used the Paroxyn on Prankster 2, Damon was able to trap Baxter and finished him off with the Damonizer.

Opening Round Match 7:
The Saints(Summer Sammartino-Rutherford, Mike Rutherford and Andrew Smith) vs The Crew(Tony,Jack,Chuck)
Brawling was the strategy of The Crew as they tried a basic mugging of The Saints early on. The Crew tried to triple team Summer but she fought back with some blistering chops and some Uppercut Forearms. Mike and Andrew saved Summer from a triple teaming and fought back with some of their quick double team maneuvers including a Wheelbarrow Facebuster/Cutter Combination on Chuck and a Wishbone on Tony. After some brawling Summer used the Pittsburgh Plunge on Jack to get the win.
Winner:The Saints.
Opening Round Match 8:
The SINdicate(Viper,C-Pac and Jason Deacon) vs The Extreme Originals(Sabu,The Sandman and Balls Mahoney.)
The SINdicate made their entrance and waited. The crowd erupted as "Enter Sandman" played signaling the arrival of the popular ECW icon The Sandman. Sandman entered through the crowd drinking beer and smoking as the crowd sang along. "Big Balls" then hit as the Chair Swinging Freak Balls Mahoney entered the ring. Then finally the crowd exploded once more as "Hulka Blues" hit as Sabu hit the ring. From then on it was a wild hardcore fight with the crowd chanting "ECW". Chair shots, singapore Cane shots insured as both teams battled it out over the arena. Mahoney used his right hand combo on Deacon which got a "Balls" chant with each landed punch. Sabu used Air Sabu taking out almost everybody on the floor. The SINdicate fought back using a combination of their power and weapon use. After several minutes of chaotic action Sabu put Deacon through a table on the outside of the floor with a Triple Jump Legdrop. Sandman fell victim to the Self High Five from C Pac who in turn was walloped over the head with a chair shot from Balls. Balls saw an opening and took a swing at Viper but Viper ducked and booted the chair into Balls face then hit the Venomizer for the three.
Winners:The SINdicate.
The crowd stood up in applause for just the opening night of action. It was announced that the next set of opening round matches would take place on the afternoon card on Saturday starting at 3PM and the Quarter Finals would make up the Evening Card with the Finals taking place on Sunday.
