~Word backstage has it that Y Kores fits in nicely with almost everyone in SNW. They mostly hang with the people they have known from their FCW and NAWA days, but have been making new friends as well. Adriana Samu, who is the manager, creative mind and agent for the rest of her Y Kores stable mates, is said to be very happy with the way SNW is run, and is happy with the direction Y Kores is headed storyline-wise right now. Samu was said to be very excited to work with The Young Gunz, and is still enjoying the feud. There was some concern by many in the SNW camp that Samu, who owns NAWA and was previously the head booker, promoter and head of creative for NAWA, RMW and FCW, would not be able to make the transition back to mere roster member. Although SNW management has not indicated on Samu's amiability in the work-place, Samu herself has said that the only thing she misses about being in charge is knowing what will happen next in their storylines.
~The Y Kores ladies will be in Calgary, Alberta, Canada next week. On July 1, the ladies will be celebrating Canada Day with the city of Calgary.
On July 2, Octavia "Rory Kotch" Stephanova and husband Alexander (Xander Nova) will be holding a try-out for their wrestling school, Nova Wrestling School, which is based in Vancouver, in conjunction with Lance Storm's Storm Wrestling Academy and PowerZone Wrestling's Power Shop (owned by Tim Strom).
On July 3 and 4, catch Y Kores and manager Xander Nova throughout the world-famous Calgary Stampede. Besides enjoying the midway rides and games, "Everyone's Favourite Canadian Lady" Adriana Samu, "The Assassin" Rory Kotch and "The Other Girl" Petrina Rotchester will be signing autographs and stopping for pictures. They will be raising funds for the Calgary SPCA, where Adriana Samu got her Rottweiler Kaos from.
~Rumour has it Adriana Samu is looking for a permanent home in Fort Worth, Texas. She has been flying in to the Texas area from her permanent home in Lethbridge, Alberta (which is a 2 hour drive south of Calgary) every time she is scheduled to appear for SNW. Word has it she is looking to buy a small house in Fort Worth so she can split her time between Lethbridge and Fort Worth.
~In case you're wondering, all four member of Y Kores keep permanent residences in Canada in order to maintain their Canadian citizenship and to comply with the rules of their American work Visas. The Stephanovas, who have a house and wrestling school in Vancouver, hold Russian passports and have been Canadian citizens for several years, while decidedly Torontonian Petrina Rotchester is celebrating her 2nd year as a Canadian this year after renouncing her British citizenship. Adriana is the only natural Canadian. None of them have plans to become American citizens, something many Canadian wrestlers have done in the past, and something many Canadian who work on both sides of the boarder are starting to do due to stricter boarder crossing rules that just came into effect in Canada as of June 1.
