Steve Austin needs to give California some money

WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin owes over $22,000 in California state taxes, according to a story in the Detroit News.

The state of California filed a $22,024 lien against Austin on June 10th, according to the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds office. The address listed on the lien is for his former home in Malibu, which he sold last year for $2.49 million.

His agent did not respond to a phone call when contacted by The Detroit News.

Steve would probably "stomp a mudhole" in the tax collector, then "walk it dry" cuz that's the bottom line (and dollar, apparently)!


on a serious aspect, i think we'll be hearing a lot more about Austin's finances, in the coming months/years. perhaps Austin's like Flair, in the sense that he spends more money then he should, then gets into major tax problems when he can't pay up.
