Ric Flair verbally bitch-slaps Bret Hart

During an appearance on the Live Audio Wrestling radio show in Canada, Ric Flair sounded off on fellow WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, saying:

"He is a pissant in the history of wrestling. He has the nerve to compare himself to me. Let's get realistic. If you put Bret Hart in your left hand and me in your right hand, compare the career...who is he? I wrestled everybody in the business, for an hour each night. Harley Race, Dory Funk, Jack and Jerry Brisco, who is Bret Hart? He is a legend in his own mind. He lives in his own little world...he screws his own family around. Who is Bret Hart? In my world he is a nobody!"

The bad blood between the two apparently began in 2005 when Bret referred to Flair as "the most overrated guy in the history of the business."

Let's see- Bret Hart was a family man (for the most part), Ric Flair assaulted women.

He had me till he said "Bret Hart screwed over his own family." No doubt Flair is one of the all time greats in the ring, but coming from a man who owes 20k a month in alimony/child support that's very pot-kettle on his part.

this coming from a wrestler that, in his prime, had his hands in the books (booking sheets, not the finances). this is the same man that, from stories i've heard, had problems with the IRS twice (once during the Crockett era, the other a bit more recently).

while Flair's done many "great things" in rasslin', he forgets how easily that things can be turned around. if Flair were half the wrestler that he claims to be, why does he wrestle the exact same match for over 30 years? seriously, there's no real changes in how he does things. just because you can wrestle hour-long matches with the greats of your time, doesn't make you great. wrestling long matches wasn't all that unusual for many wrestlers, of that generation.

Flair's just pissed because "one of the boys" had the balls to speak the truth.
