So you know how Team 3D lost the IWGP Tag titles to the British Invasion last week in a tables match on IMPACT? Well, New Japan has issued a press release saying that they didn't sanction the title defense and do not recognize The British Invasion as tag champs and still recognize Team 3D.
As if things can't get any more confusing, TNA seems to be ignoring New Japan completely and still has the British Invasion defending the IWGP Tag titles against Beer Money, Inc. at their next pay per view. So where does things go from here?
Firstly, New Japan severing ties with TNA is likely. Given how TNA is ignoring New Japan's comments and doing what they want to, I see how it could easily happen and soon.
I suppose that TNA could try and do damage control and either angle the titles back to Team 3D or do SOMETHING without killing The British Invasion's push and heat.
I dunno, but it looks as if New Japan and TNA may be clashing before we know it and not in the ring. I know New Japan took some shots at American wrestling in their press release, including cheap shoting WCW.
What do you guys think of it all?

I am in the minority that still likes TNA because it's different, but the whole New Japan/TNA interaction I always thought was sucked. Plus, defending another federation's title(s) in your company never seemed ethical or logical to me. They just need to drop the titles back in Japan, and end this little clusterfuck.

always stupid defending another promotions titles in your own company. longer relations last, the more likely that problems will occur.
