-There are rumors flying about that FCW alumni Lloyd Banks and S.T. Strickler may be in contract negotiations with Sports Nutz Wrestling. This comes on the heels of the news that UHW alumni Seppuku had visited Gordon Heath in his office, and now there are rumors that another UHW alum, Baron, could be on his way to SNW. Baron, as some of you may recall, was part of the Dynasty stable in UHW with Gordon Heath and the Sports Nutz.
-SNW will be holding its first untelevised house show next Saturday night, August 22, at Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. Tickets are going fast as fans will get to see such stars as SNW Texas Heavyweight Champion, Soul Reaper; SNW Von Erich Memorial Champion, Katrina; SNW Bad Blood Champion, "The Dream" Chris Angel; SNW Texas Tag Team Champions, TNT; Insurgence; Y Kores; Age of SIN; "Kid Thunder" Alex Daniels, and many more SNW superstars. There are also reports that if the rumors are true, Seppuku, S.T. Strickler, Lloyd Banks and Baron could all receive try out matches at the live event in Euless.
-And with the rumors of an influx of talent, SNW has negotiated with numerous local television stations throughout the United States and Canada to air a new syndicated television show, SNW Wrestling Hangover. The show will be taped on Wednesday nights inside the Sports Zone, which has just been completed and is located inside the Gordietorium. The Sports Zone looks similar to the set that WCW used for their old TBS program, WCW Saturday Night. Wrestling Hangover will feature all the top SNW superstars in action, and may even include some Texas independent wrestlers from time to time who are not under contract to SNW. Check your local listings for the channel, as well as day or night, and time when Wrestling Hangover will air in your viewing area.
