Veteran WWE Superstar Chris Jericho is universally viewed as one of the organization's most valuable players, but that does not mean the Fozzy lead singer is content with the current WWE environment.
"We’re in a crisis period in WWE and we need to build new guys," said Jericho in an interview with the Baltimore Sun.
Jericho added that one of Shawn Michaels' first comments upon returning to RAW was, "Whose been built since I left?"
There was no clear answer from Y2J, who believes the problem is limited to RAW; he explains that while SmackDown! has created stars out of John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler and Cryme Tyme, "I can’t tell you on Raw who has been built over the last six months. They better do it soon, because when this generation of performers is gone, who will replace them?"
In the same interview, Jericho also discusses his feud with Rey Mysterio, his short-lived tag team with Edge and the success of Shaquille O'Neal, Seth Green and Freddie Prinze, Jr. as guest RAW hosts.
