According to a report by PWInsider, the photo shoot that TNA Knockout Traci Brooks did for Playboy not long ago will not be appearing in the magazine after all. According to sources, a change in editors at the magazine ended up killing the Brooks photo shoot as this new editor didn't want anything associated between the magazine and pro wrestling. Brooks was scheduled to appear in the fall issue of Playboy this year and this was one of the main reasons she was brought back to TV and put into the Main Event Mafia. However, even though Brooks will not be appearing in the actual magazine, she will be appearing on the "Cyber Club" Playboy website instead later this month. Brooks would have been the first female wrestler outside of WWE to pose for the magazine since they broke ties with WWE.

Wonder if there's any recourse TNA can take over this. I mean, wouldn't this be a breach of their agreement?

EDIT: Good lord, someone check to make sure it's not raining donuts, because I never thought I'd see the day that I'd be supporting TNA over anything other than pushing Hernandez! lol

TNA really should focus on bigger things than some naked broad. Their world champ being a woman beater, one of their big originals getting pulled over for DUI, the main company man banging said world champion's ex wife, and Vince Russo. All those are much bigger problems that need to be addressed.

from what i heard, the reason Playboy pulled the pics from the mag is because TNA didn't do enough to hype this, until it was a bit too late for Playboy to care. no shocker, as far as i'm concerned.

i think the pics will still be available online.

Well they say there's two sides to every story, so if it's really more to do with TNA not promoting it, and less to do with a "new editor," then TNA deserves whatever they get.

i've heard both rumors (the new editor & TNA not promoting enough). maybe it's a combination of both problems. whenever a problem is started, there's bound to be different versions of the truth. somewhere in all those versions, you'll see bits & pieces of the truth.
