thats what Character Developement is for ^^ and also what on show promos can be done however this comes down to the users themselves to hand in the work for because lets face it matches writers need to concentrate solely on that. However if you react to event taking place in your promo for people around you that you are aware of then it would add to your Promo not detract from it, as a lot of issues for some promoers is that they seem to repeat themselves with out realising it.

It would also help if people would utilize places such as Gordon Heath's Office, each other's locker rooms, and the various SNW sponsored businesses(Dunpork's House of Bacon, Omerta's Gym, End Game, etc) to help advance angles with character development RPs. But yes, we do need to work on more interaction between various parties, but like Silvus said, it would help if people would hand in segments and what not because we're busy enough as is trying to write the shows(even when we do start early in the week) and living a real life, and enjoying other leisure activities.

Writers also write backstage stuff. Im just saying we can slot a little more here and there. Help to build on what the RPers have established. RPers can IM the writers and let them as well. Works both ways

Exactly. Thats how it should work. RPers shouldn't think the writers are going to perpetually do right by their wrestlers if they are not going to be invested enough to hit you guys up an IM and tell you what plans they have and likewise.

Thanks Shaggy for getting more cowbell in. Or trying... ;D JD, Matt and I had talked about that before and one of the problems would be deciding WHO gets who in the takeover attempts since we share so many of the same characters. It's would be impossible to pull off. You could look at both rosters, see which ones are only on SNW and which ones are only on PCW. The ones that are on both could have to choose a side. About 98% of the PCW roster is also on here. Only two handlers aren't members of this site. There's a lot who aren't members of the PCW site.

how about having tournaments & such stuff? it could be like the King of the Ring, as an example. this sort of thing, if done right, could elevate the winner of the tournament, as well as give people something extra to fight for, without adding an extra title.
don't even need awards, either. maybe tournaments could be used as a way of building up title contenders.
and, since we occassionally like to spoof Russo's ideas, how about spoofing an old WCW idea. maybe have a Battle Bowl match. get a bunch of wrestlers into tag team matches. have random partners drawn for the matches. winning teams would enter the Battle Bowl. the winner could get a shot at the SNW Texas Championship (or other prize, if you want).

Funny you bring up the ideas of a tournament and/or Battle Bowl, as I was actually tabling SNW holding a Fight-Win-Survive event throughout the month of January, with the winner receiving a shot at the SNW Texas Championship at WrestleStock 2(and if successful, this could be an annual thing).
This is an idea taken from local Texas indy fed PCW(Professional Championship Wrestling, not to be confused with Fawn's PCW). The first year, it was two teams of 8, and after a series of matches, the two teams would vote someone off until the tournament got paired down to 4 wrestlers, at which point it was everybody for themselves. The years after, it has been 4 teams of 4, with wrestlers being eliminated after losing a match. And each match had a different stipulation. Yes, it kinda sounds like 4 Up(which is taken after BattleBox), but when you see it play out, it's actually quite different.
However, how we'd pull it off I'm not sure about yet, seeing as that shows are usually only about 6 matches per week. But we have plenty of time to think something like this over.

I love the idea of a tournament. I miss my Havoc PPV with the Stable Wars. It was fun.

why not set it up so we have groups of 4 wrestlers fighting each other in a league style system facing off against each other once in hopes of qualifying to the next step, and then fom there on it become a regular tournement with stips and such fourth.

That's basically what the format was for PCW's(Texas indy promotion, not Fawn's efed) Fight Win Survive in its second year. What would happen is that once someone lost a match, they were out of FWS, and once it came down to four wrestlers, then it was everybody for themselves. That format might be the best for us to use.
