This is just a little experiment/survey as I am somewhat of an e-fed mad scientist who likes to tinker and tweak. What do you guys want to see more of in SNW? I'm talking in the sense of how matches are written, what kind of gimmicks we use, segments we currently do on the TV shows or PPVS, stuff like that. If there's an idea for a match type, or maybe a segment idea you'd like to see widespread bring it up here. If it pertains to your particular character, then it's probably better to mail it to Matt or I since we are the main show writers. However, feel free to post comments or such here. I want to hear from you guys, I'm basically extending show feedback to cover the whole fed. So lemme hear from ya!

Don't know why I didn't think of making a thread such as this sooner. Good call! But I think what this fed needs is less Ty j/k (only Shaggy and I will get that)

Personally, I'd like to see more cowbell in SNW

I'd like to see longer feuds, not just flavor of the month type. Like a typical feud between contenders for the Texas Championship can go on for several months, throw different gimmicks in. Just my 2 cents

I prefer longer feuds too, more to get the story really built up properly but sometimes not everyone can commit to a decent length feud.

I'm glad this is a big thing for you guys, because we've seen the same thing and are working to try and get that corrected. While we don't want to have just razor short feuds, we don't have the benefit of a monthly PPV to do big matches. However, we can get around that. I will also personally form a blue ribbon committee to figure out why there is not enough cowbell in SNW, and what I need to do in order to get more cowbell.

Well we were about to have a long feud with Matt Margera and James Jackson, and that got shot out the window when Jackson's internet died on him(he can only get online if he uses his cellphone). We did have a pretty lengthy feud between the Destruction Crew and Chapter Six.
You also have to keep in mind we just had a slew of newbies sign up, so we have to try to figure out something for them. And it's been hard keeping some feuds going when people become unreliable with their attendance.

I want to see me get a rematch soonish OR I'll take James Jacksons place against Matt Margera... yeah I went there.

oooh.....oooh.......since some of us have characters that go back & forth between SNW & PCW, how's about some form of interfed storyline? i'm thinking of an Invasion-styled fued, only without McMahon's stupidity involved with it. could be like an NWO thing, where each side could threaten to take over.

Thanks Shaggy for getting more cowbell in. Or trying... ;D
JD, Matt and I had talked about that before and one of the problems would be deciding WHO gets who in the takeover attempts since we share so many of the same characters. It's would be impossible to pull off.
Any chance of another title possibly coming in? Or would you like to avoid another title coming in?

We've already got four titles, so adding a fifth would be a bit much. Plus, how would we make that title distinguish itself from the others?

It's would be impossible to pull off. You could look at both rosters, see which ones are only on SNW and which ones are only on PCW. The ones that are on both could have to choose a side.

Invasion angles are tough animals to tame. I remember trying to organise an invasion angle between my fed and another and well, it took many months of build up and lots of going back and forth between the owners and writers of both feds. Eventually, it never worked out because we weren't sure they'd treat us with the same amount of respect we'd treat them.
Also, the idea of adding a fifth belt is a terrible weapon. We've just got a new belt out and having another belt would saturate the roster too much, spacing out too many wrestlers who would otherwise be viable contenders for the singles belts. The only way to counter that would be to attract new people or have more wrestlers, which goes against the problem of having one handler with too many wrestlers under his/her belt.
No, we need to focus on the titles we have, establish a sort of card division for each belt. Like tag teams feud for tag titles so on and so forth. If you guys have an idea of the kind of competitor you want for your titles, it'll be easier to start feuds or to slot someone into a program.
One other thing I'd like to see are more familial interactions between wrestlers during shows. For instance, say I team up with with Andy Lionheart randomly one week. After that match is over, we go about our daily business oblivious to one another's presence. I understand this can be alleviated through promos but seeing how the point of a promo is to secure yourself a win against your opponent, reestablishing relationships or forming new ones cannot be a priority. Therefore, using the shows as a set piece, we can build a more cohesive SNW universe. It is a small problem and it find even seem insignificant to some of you, but trust me, when you have a universe like this, the only way to make it believable is when wrestlers are aware of each other. And not in a "Oh hey, I remember you, we fought before and now we're teaming," kind of way. Let's make it a little more personal. A little more realistic. The world sees it as wrestling, but its actually a business, a company. And we're RPing it as such. Our stories don't end with the promos.
That's just the beginning.
