According to an article on ThePilot.com, former WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested for "trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steroids," and is currently in Moore County jail.
The report claims Hardy was arrested after a search of his residence revealed he was in possession of 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a "residual amount of powder cocaine" and drug paraphernalia items. The report notes that "Vicodin and anabolic steriods are Schedule III substances", while Soma is a non-controlled prescription pill.
The search was part of a joint investigation conducted by the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department.
OK, I've been a defender for a long time. I've been a very forgive/forget mentality on Jeff for a really long time, but after this I just can't. Coke, steroids, Vicodin, I just can't ignore that and tolerate it anymore. Guess this closes the book on the wrestling career of Jeff Hardy, I mean how could WWE or anyone put him back on a roster after this?

So it's pretty clear here. He got out before they could force him out.

Not really, no. Unless Big Dick needed some Somas

Not really, no. Unless Big Dick needed some Somas I meant as far as how they look in the face, not based on their personal lives. I'm telling you, look at Jeff Hardy's face, and look at Richard's face, and it's a very strong separated at birth candidate.

We need to start a separated at birth thread, however that's for another time. What is somewhat scary/stupid is that there are a ton of people out there claiming he is innocent. I love the guy just as much as any other fan, however you aren't arrested with this degree of specificity on why as just a media farce. He did it, and unless we get some really really REALLY extenuating circumstances he's done. Freak was right, he got out before they found out.

obviously, nobody is one bit surprised about this.
here's something to think about. knowing how hell bent Jeff was on getting out of WWE, you have to wonder if Jeff knew that something was about to go down.

And we have a bit more here, once again crediting fully Prowrestling.com
According to The Fayetteville Observer, Jeff Hardy's arrest yesterday came from a tip given to the Fayetteville, NC police department several days ago.
Chief Deputy Neil Godfry says that a subsequent investigation led to a search warrant of Hardy's home and that's when they found the drugs and arrested Hardy.
Hardy's arrest is being picked up by most major media outlets and there's a buzz here in North Carolina.
I've read a lot of the stuff guys like Matt, Jericho, Hell even JR addressed it in a blog on his website. It seems pretty simple to me, if he's innocent and IF(and this is a damn big if in my own personal opinion) this is all wrong then there's no problem. However, with all that is out there right now he is guiltier than Hell. Also, WWE has pulled the Jeff Hardy DVD totally off the table.

I've been reading over the past 24 hours as much as I can about this situation, since I've made it no secret in the past that I am(was?) a huge Jeff Hardy mark. I fully admit it, and am not ashamed with it. With that said, I'd like to make a couple points here.
-A lot of Jeff's friends and family have spoken out against detractors, saying the truth will come out and all this other stuff. They are partially right and partially wrong. They should be supporting him, as they are close to him that is their obligation. Through good times and bad you band together. However, claiming this is the media's fault and that what we are hearing is not the truth is just unwise. I can pick between two entities to believe, I can choose the police force who if they lie then they can be brought up on charges relating to lying on a police report. Or I can choose a guy who has been accused many times of being messed up on drugs, and abruptly left a company that was willing to break the bank and give him star treatment. Am I saying the police are 100% for sure right? No because there is always a margin for error even if it is minute, and if they are indeed lying then I will apologize. However, I doubt two police forces would search a home and then lie about what they found while arresting the owner of said home. So saying the truth will come out is really speaking out of denial. The truth is out there, and just because your friend/family member got caught doesn't make it a lie.
-Also, I realize we will probably never know the identity of the tipster who led 5-O to this arrest, but if you will allow me I have a theory on it. I truly do believe that whoever alerted the cops is a close friend or family member of Jeff's. I was talking to Matt(Shannon not Hardy) and I put it this way to him and I'll put it to y'all the same way. If your sister/brother/parent/cousin/close friend/what have you was messed up on drugs or doing something you thought was harmful to them, and you had already confronted them personally about it would you call the police and get them busted if you honestly thought it would help them get better in the future? I would, and I think that is what happened here. I think Beth, or Matt, or Shannon, or Shane or someone found out this was happening and decided to intervene before it got any worse. I can't blame them, judging by what all Jeff had it could have gotten real ugly real quick.
-Ken Anderson made the point on his Twitter account "Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house." That is a bunch of crap in this case. We all make mistakes, however no one I know lives in a house filled with prescription painkillers, muscle relaxants, and steroids. If Jeff got a speeding ticket or a DUI, that's more logical. But none of us live with a pharmacy in our house. This is different, this is big time illegal stuff. I don't want to hear I shouldn't criticize him because I've made mistakes too and I'm not perfect. I'm not, but I've never done something as stupid and self-destructive as this. Maybe Jeff needs someone to criticize him, instead of being told he's never wrong. He's obviously in the wrong here, so why are we saying "Oh it's the medias fault, the truth will come out, let's all rally around Jeff." You can stay you'll stand by him, but that doesn't mean you have to accept that what he did was right or that he never did it at all.
-In closing, I hope this has been a wake up call for him. I don't want to see him in jail for ten years or however long, and I don't want to wake up one morning to find him dead like Benoit or Guerrero. However, I think he needs to step up and realize what he did was wrong instead of lying to himself and trying to place the blame elsewhere. It's time to be a man, and being a man means accepting your screw ups and taking your punishment. Right now Jeff is acting like a child, blaming other people and proclaiming his innocence while running down detractors who are reporting what is true. Time will tell how this plays out, but as it stands right now Jeff Hardy should be a role model to no one because he can not be trusted.

smells like the worst case of crap i've ever smelled. while i'm no saint, i feel it's safe to say the Jeff Hardy needs some serious help. you can't just go about living this way, without there being serious reprecussions. i'm sure most of us at least know of people who've lived destructive lifestyles. my brother's worked with his share of coworkers that have had addiction problems (one of which, i believe, was committed to a nut home for awhile, do to hallucinations).
i'm surprised i was never committed. had a point, a number of years back, where i'd drink 8 or more beers a night, every single night. be drunk at work. bosses would either hand out the beer or would tell a bartender to bring the drinks back for those of us that wanted to drink. never got to the point of needing the beer, just to get out of bed, but i was pretty bad. i think the only way i put up with my days was by having the beers.
on a related point, this sort of thing can often sneek up on a person. you often don't realize that you've got a problem until it's too late. fortunately for me, my old man kept me from letting my problems get worse. that, and i think it helped that my old job shutdown. they were making it way too easy. dad, in his case, did what he could to keep me sane enough to somewhat control the drinking.....at the very least, he motivated me to not let the problem get worse.
guess my point is that i can see how this happens. Jeff Hardy is still a douche, but i see how this happens.

Well let's face it, it's not like pro wrestlers are sitting on their ass all day. They have a very physical profession, to say the least. So, while I understand how some guys smoke weed to relax(and honestly that doesn't bother me a bit it's the lesser of two evils and I'm not doing it so I don't care) or could get addicted to Vicodin or Oxycotin or such. But having over 250 pills in your house is just fucked, plain and simple. Plus on the point of what Anderson said, let's not forget the whole reason Bob Holly got fired from WWE. Anderson found a bunch of pain pills in his bag and squealed to management. While I'm not sticking up for Bob, isn't this worse since Jeff had way more yet you'll defend him? Just throwing it out there.
