The scene fades in where Katrina is watching Clinton's rant on Alex and she shakes her head some and rolls her eyes. Things were really getting blown out of proportion. She raised her brow at the "Katrina means a lot to us comment." Funny, it hasn't seemed that way. So far this little faction hadn't felt like a faction at all.
Katrina sighed. She began to let her mind wander a bit. At least when she was a Dark One, the members were a tight knit group. They took care of each other. They were more of a family than a faction.
She tilted her head. She knew there was no way in hell Alex was betraying her and in cahoots with Gory. She shook her head some. She didn't "need" them around. If it came to it, she'd take Gory on by herself. He'd taught her a lot in the time she was a Dark One. She may not be able to beat him, but he'd know she was there.
She switched off Clinton's rant and sighed again. She had a lot of thinking to do. Things had to change. They weren't the close faction one would like to think they were. She hated the stables name, something she wasn't consulted on. It made them sound heelish and elitist. Neither were what she was.
She paused and watched Alex's retort. She shook her head slightly. Insurgence had one thing going for them this little stable didn't have. They were all on the same page.
She pulled out her phone and dialed a number.
KATRINA: Alex...we need to talk.
