ProWrestling.net is reporting that TNA star Booker T will likely be finished with TNA after his contract expires which is reportedly sometime in November. The belief right now is that Booker is unhappy with the company, and he also has a lot of backstage heat on him within TNA management because of recent behavior.
Most recently, Booker refused to put over Matt Morgan at the last set of Impact tapings, and he had a meeting just the day before with TNA President Dixie Carter where the two reportedly worked out some of the issues both sides were having with each other. Apparently that meeting did little to no good as Booker went ahead and refused to job to Morgan.
Additionally, Booker's behavior on the last TNA overseas tour was described as "disruptive," and he even refused to work a tag team match with Scott Steiner, as we reported, when the fans began to throw chairs into the ring. Booker was reportedly telling those backstage in TNA that he has plans to return to WWE, and always has that option available which he claims he most likely will exercise.
Concerning the Matt Morgan issue, there is apparently no heat between him and Booker T, it was more a matter of Booker feeling that it was a creative mistake for him to lose to Morgan on TV rather than on a PPV. Additionally, Booker did not inform TNA management about his decision not to job to Morgan until 45 minutes before the Impact taping, which made it very difficult for the creative team to re-write the segment.
This begs the eternal question, who cares anymore?

As TNA sinks further into irrelevancy...seriously, where are the people who swore TNA was taking over?

what the hell is up with TNA? every time wrestling "greats" join the roster, they suddenly develop bad attitudes. Angle's attitude has really sucked, since joining. Nash has been known to disappear, in the past, because he was expected to do major jobs. Booker T has been known as having attitude problems in TNA, before. Sting's the only one who's maintained a decent attitude. though, it could be argued that he's more of a part-time wrestler, hence the ability to stay sane.

Sting's recent conversion to Christianity might play a part as well. More "Christians" could take a page or two from the Stinger. And I have to say from experience, working part time might also be a big factor for him staying sane. I'm fortunate I don't have to work weekends at my day job of waiting tables, so that's kept me sane.

The funny thing, most of these dickheads have HAD bad attitudes and its not all of a sudden. Booker T's attitude was garbage in WWE while he was there... Angle was developing his ego before he left the E and Nash... well he's been a total drama queen/problem starter since WCW. Hell the only "big names" that have either remained cool or chilled off have been Sting and Steiner.... yeah Steiner.
The problem is that when a "big name star" goes to TNA, they are pretty much given the pampered treatment and so the ones with bad attitudes take advantage of that and roll all over everybody because they can. TNA needs to buckle down and remind these guys who's really in charge.

As TNA sinks further into irrelevancy...seriously, where are the people who swore TNA was taking over? I'm one of them, and I'm right here. I don't watch TNA anymore (or wrestling in general, actually) because there are other things/people I would rather be doing between 7pm and 9pm on Thursday nights. Don't get me wrong - I still like watching wrestling (I go to the odd PZW indy show here in town, and if the boy is busy I'll flip a WWE or TNA show on to pass the time). However, neither WWE nor TNA give me anything to hold my breath over anymore and neither show make me want to tune in next week to see what's going on. Maybe, at almost-26 years old, I've finally outgrown it. Even efedding isn't as much for me about he the matches anymore as it is about the creative writing, something that I've become more involved in in the last couple of months.

I have to say, I'm pretty much with Jillie through and through on this one. I have watched maybe one full episode of Raw and (or) Impact each in the past almost three years. I watched wrestling from the time I was about 5 until 2007. And I've seen as much as I can, and now it's just starting to repeat itself. Not to mention, the people I enjoyed watching wrestle are now dead, past their prime or retired. I just don't care about it anymore. Sure I'll support a local company or an NWA-Midwest show that comes through town or is a town or two over. But, screw going out of my way for these two deadbeat company's. I'm over it. Like Jillie, Efedding is also a creative outlet for me, always has been. Which is why despite me no longer having much of any clue what's going on in the industry, I still do it. Not to mention, a lot of friends that I've made over the years like Jillie, Matt, Djo, and JD to name a few are here. It's nice to have a way to keep in touch with them. But honestly, who cares if TNA imploded upon itself or if the WWE is no longer what it was 9 or 10 years ago? Not this guy.

i think the last full episode of WWE i watched involved a tribute to [name removed by request of WWE]. i believe i gave up on TNA, around the same time.....mostly because they gave Billy Gunn the moniker "Cute" Kip (making him look seriously gay, again).
that was the last of the stupid shit i could tolerate from them. now, i catch a few minutes of WWE/TNA, on occassion, but only if i have nothing good to do at the time. any wrestling i watch is if WWE makes a compilation DVD (recently got the Allied Powers & 10th anniversary of Smackdown DVDs).
don't get any Indy wrestling in the area, so i'm pretty well screwed on that thought.
efedding, at this point, is more because i need something to do, while i'm online (inbetween porn sessions). even then, i've done enough efedding over the years, where i've pretty much done it all. even had an efed, early on, where i managed to claim a World Title. at this point, i'm pretty much like MGM & Jillie......i do this, more for creative writing then anything else.
at least i still get to see the occassional joke/spoof started (like the Warren Commission reports, fighting over a ham).
then there's MGM. he still hasn't brought me that birthday beer, yet.

BIG update on this situation
credit:nodq.com
According to the website Prowrestling.net, the word at Sunday's TNA Bound For Glory PPV was that TNA would not be renewing Booker T's contract when it expires next month. There was said to be talk that TNA President Dixie Carter would have a change of heart if Booker said the right things, but every indication right now is that he sealed his fate when he refused to job to Matt Morgan at the last set of Impact TV tapings. The creative team booked the stretcher angle at the PPV to get him out written of the match. Apparently there were a lot of rolling eyes backstage over the way he acted as he was being stretchered out. One TNA source even added, "He's been such an asshole that most people were just happy to see him go." The belief is that WWE has interest in bringing Booker back to the company once he is contractually available.

So anyone want to bet that he will be in WWE in six months? He thinks he'll be signed again. I'd laugh my ass off if he was sent to FCW.
