Two WWE legends possibly leaving this world?

With the false Roddy Piper "terminal cancer" rumors that spread around yesterday, let's not forget that there are two other wrestling legends that are going through serious health issues right now.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE hall of famer Lou Albano, 76, is now in Hospice care, which is never a good sign.

Dr. Death” Steve Williams also wrote this to his fans:

A new message from “Dr. Death” Steve Williams:

Hi everyone yes, this is way passed over due I have dragged my feet and couldn’t belief the Doctors as of this month I would of been 5 year Cancer free. It all happen in July my doc from MD Anderson ask me come and get checked up. I been having this problem with my stoma getting dryed out working on the ramp at Southwest man do I love this Company they have been just behind me 100 %. So at MD they did three byopis to my stoma and they came back Cancer in that area. Talk about a let down it hit me hard life has been grand till then. I knew then I had to put on my game face and start fighting, well the team at Anderson decided all I have left is Chemo with the study of a pill called Sorafenib. No more operation or Radiation left in me.So we went ahead and did some chemo and the pill, will the pill didn’t like me we had some problems with it so we stop it, all of it. I was flying every week to Houston and that was going to take a toll on me and my family my brother Jeff has been the life of me and a angle so we have move everything up at home here in Denver and we just got the green light to start Monday, we are going to beat this as you all know I beat once I’ll do it again God has the last say on this and I have to much work to do for him so please pray for me it work.

i recently read that Albano was taken out of Hospice care. apparently, the wife wanted to have him home, stating he wasn't getting better or worse. probably better that he dies at home, anyway. that's what i would want.

had a neighbor that once had Hospice care. it was an elderly woman. she went a few months, before finally dying. never heard of anyone lasting long, once they get to this stage.


as far as Dr. Death goes, he seriously can't seem to win. i don't know if i could handle the chemo & radiation treatments that he's gone through.

Captain Lou is as good as dead. when you start receiving Hospice care, it's pretty much just everyone's way of making you comfortable, which is primarily done when no other option is available.
