I posted my GNO promo not too long ago, maybe an hour ago. And it's not on the roleplay board anymore.
Matt? Shaggy? Wench?

Not asking me and I'm the most actively present person on this board?
Having said that, I didn't ever see it posted, so the only thing I can think of is that maybe you wrote it and accidently forgot to hit the post button.. OR you hit the post button and then had a net hiccup... OR maybe you hit the preview button on accident and thought you posted it, but didn't.
Aside from that Matt could check the security log to see if it was deleted after being put up.

I checked the security log, and there was nothing stating you had posted the thread or that it was deleted. ALWAYS save a copy in your email folder when using a public computer and writing your promo on the board itself.

Dragon, that happened to me ALL the time when I previewed the post before hitting submit. I finally just started hitting submit, proofing it, and if edits needed to be made I hit modify. It's much safer that way. This site in general seems to have it out for me, so I'm glad it hates someone else, too.

Editing an RP is actually looked down upon in just about every efed, esp this one, FYI. That's why I suggested writing it as a draft in your email program, saving the draft, then copying and pasting it here on the boards. And Jillie, editing an RP to fix a broken tag or what not is fine. It's when you start editing stuff such as you fuck up an angle, and we're about to count off for it, then you change it... that's when we get pissy about it.

I mean, why do you think the Hart Foundation was so over as heels here in the States? KIDDING!!! Sorry, I was being a bit anal with that previous post. Blame it on the early mornings all week. HA!

nah just blame matt, he's lost his toys that's all. But to be honest if i was you guys i'd write everything in word then copy and paste it from there, been my method for almost 5 years due to this issue happening to me before on other sites. >.<

i use notepad to write my stuff. i used to have problems of getting disconnected from dial-up, as well as stuff not posting properly (similar to what's been mentioned, already). found it easier to write it out, in advance. check to see if i like what i did. then, i'll post.
