From what I keep seeing of this... it all just seems like is mutual publicity and limited wrestling appearance. BUT, with somebody like a Hogan, who has numerous connections and fanbase...there is a good chance this could work out really well. As long as Hogan takes the step of helping the company and not burying people... AND if Russo leaves and they overhaul the creative team and make it to where they have storylines that make sense... I'm willing to give this a shot for awhile to see how it plays out.
You have to admit though, love him or hate him, Hogan will always be able to bring SOMETHING to the table. They may get an influx of talent... they may get better ratings and attention from the network... they may actually put up a hell of a fight.
But then again this could easily flop too. Instead of jumping on the "Hogan is evil and this a stupid move" bandwagon, I'm going to sit it out and keep an eye on how this plays out. Theres enough positives that can come from this to just focus on bullshit negativity.

At the least, they will get ratings because people want to see just what the Hell will happen.

i see too many variables in this. Russo, as booker, there's just no telling what kind of stupid shit he'll have set up for Hogan. with Hogan, if he has a creative control in his contract, and if his ego gets in the way of business (been known to happen), things could easily end up poorly.
if Hogan were to actually act in the best interests of TNA, then this has the potential of being good.
unfortunately, TNA's always got the "this'll be it" mentality. at one time, everyone thought that getting a 2nd hour would do it for them. getting Sting on the roster was supposed to be it for them, at one time. there always seems to be "1 thing missing" for TNA, from what i've seen.
i'm not going to hold my breath.

My biggest worry about this is that it just looks so damn similar to the last days of WCW. All the old guys at the top, and the smaller guys who have gotten TNA as far as they have being squashed. With Russo booking this, I just don't like the looks of it at all. Am I saying it will fail, no because no one knows until it happens.

I loathe Hulk Hogan. I am thoroughly glad I have better things/people to do on Thursday nights now. Jillie, you know I love you to do death and we go wayyyy back, but you really make it seem like you used to "DO" the Hulkster with that comment... Just a thought. With that in mind, re-read what I said above about me loving, and remember that when you strike me upside the head. Please and thank you. You know what I mean, Thong Boy.

i seriously hope this doesn't screw things up for guys like AJ Styles, Daniels, Samoa Joe or others, guys who've busted their ass for too long, just to get buried now.

If Hogan doesn't want to die, he won't even think of burying Hernandez. ;D
