Thanks, Shag! I'm still lurking around here, FYI, when I get a chance. My schedule is suuuper busy these days. I'm heading off for a MUCH needed vacation tomorrow to the great state of Nebraska to visit my sister. I am looking forward to working with all of you again in the New Year!!!
Thanks again, Shaggy!

If you get the chance, go find that punk Zac Lee and smack the shit out of him. Going 2-8 with only 13 yards is a damn disgrace and it cost TCU a title.

Don't worry, Shaggy, no matter how much Jillie smacks him up, Zac can just relax and snack on that fruit basket I sent him.
And JD, for people from Alberta, Nebraska is like Las Vegas.

Nebraska was actually much more hilly than Southern Alberta, where I currently reside. And they got a shit load of snow just in time for our visit! Fun! I must say, Nebraskans are way slower on the ploughing of the street thing. It's not a place I'd go for a serious vacation, but it's a nice enough city, with decent enough shopping, and I got to hang out with my sister and her theatre pals. I also learned that Americans take out the trash, not the garbage, the call people, they don't phone them, and it's huh, not eh. Huh.

i think in America, we call it garbage when it's inside. once you get it outside, it's trash. that's something that i've heard, at least where i live.
even with American terminology, i think also depends a lot on which part of the country you're in.
we usually say "calling" instead of phoning in this part of the country, too.

I'm pretty sure Eastern Canada is a lot more like the Eastern US in their language and whatnot. Excpet for the Newfies. And the French. Ok, so people in Ontario sound a lot more American to me than us people out west. I have rarely used the phrase "I'll call you" and the only time I refer to "trash" is when there is a slutty chick walking by.
