credit:prowrestling.com Press in Saugas, MA, are reporting that a criminal complaint was filed against WWE star Randy Orton on Tuesday night for assault and battery. A 15-year-old autograph boy alleges that Orton assaulted him in the parking lot of Kowloon restaurant outside of Boston, which is a regular haunt of WWE stars when they are in town. The boy told police that Orton spat gum in his face and used profanity. When the boy's mother interjected Orton allegedly told her, "so sue me." Lt. Leonard Campanello of the Saugas Police Dept. told www.wickedlocal.com/saugus that another juvenile male also in the parking lot at the time of the altercation reported witnessing the exchange between Orton and the 15-year-old. Something tells me this won't stick.

Why doesn't it surprise me that this could be true...

Either way it wouldn't shock me. Stories like this are to be taken with a grain of salt though.

Considering Orton's history I don't take it with a grain of salt...and I hope this is what causes WWE to let him go. God, am I sick of him.

I know he's playing a heel, but he plays it TOO well, and gives off the vibes that he'd be a jerk out of the ring.

Of course, there are two sides to every story. Was the teenager acting out of line and do something to provoke Orton, much like how a fan called D-Von Dudley the n-word that caused D-Von, who as far as I know doesn't have a bad reputation among the fans OOC, to go ballistic? How about those fans that tried to attack Jericho after a show, forcing Jericho to defend himself? You never know what could've happened until both sides of the story come out.

Considering Orton's rep I'd be just a little skeptical that his actions might've been justified.

There's three sides to every story. In this case, you've got the kid's story, Orton's story, and the truth. Whether he did it or not, and it wouldn't be very hard to convince me either way, I just don't see this going real far. Mainly because you've got a couple of teenagers vs an adult.

You never know what could've happened until both sides of the story come out. if this were most wrestlers, i'd be giving them the benefit of the doubt. i'd even give someone like Triple H the benefit, since he's not known for such crap. Orton, however, has a history of pulling stunts, the most famous of which is trashing a hotel room. there's a small group of wrestlers that you automatically assume are guilty of stuff. Orton is one of those guys. if Scott Steiner went bezerk on someone, most fans (especially older fans) would probably believe it too, as he also has a history of doing stupid shit. most other wrestlers would be given the chance to make their case.

Abusing steroids will do that to you (Steiner)...Orton's just an asshole. Ask the Marines.

that's right....i seem to think Orton was dishonorably discharged from the Marines. can't recall what the reason was for the discharge, but i remember hearing of it.

Orton's a schmuck, and he will always be a schmuck in my eyes until proven otherwise... I mean the fact he deserted while in the Corps should be enough of an indicator right there, what a little bitch, mean when I found out he went AWOL a few years ago that already said all I needed to know about what kind of character this guy is made of. You don't screw over the Marines, that just one thing you don't do... Ooh-rah!

I thought when one went AWOL they were put in jail or something to that effect? Or am I wrong on that?

Every circumstance is different. Sometimes they are put in jail and someitmes they forfeit other rights... (such as the the privilege to vote, prohibited to own firearms, among many other possible stipulations) However, more times than not, yes, but I'm far from an expert on this particular military issue. The Marines that are in my life, and are my friends and family actually take pride in being one unlike Orton did.
