The following is from TMZ.com:
WWE wrestler Greg “Hurricane” Helms allegedly smacked several people — including a woman — before he and Chris Jericho were arrested at a Kentucky gas station yesterday, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
We’re told several people were in a taxi cab with Helms and Jericho when things allegedly got violent around 4 AM yesterday.
Cops say they spoke to several members of the group who told them Helms struck three people — including Jericho, a man named Gary Kelley and a female passenger named Ashley Storer.
Witnesses told cops Helms ran from the scene right after the violent incident but returned to the gas station soon after, where he — along with Jericho — was arrested for being drunk in public.
Cops say Helms was not arrested for the alleged attack because the alleged victims have not pressed charges — a requirement for an arrest in Kentucky if the police do not witness the attack.
Ashley told cops she did not want to file charges against Helms — but Kelley told police he’s mulling it over and may go after the wrestler.

Should they be let go? Maybe. Will anything happen? Of course not.

Well, not only this, but let me add to this story a bit:

WWE Superstars Chris Jericho and Gregory Helms were arrested on Wednesday morning at 5am in Kenton County, Kentucky. The two were charged with public alcohol intoxication and spent over an hour at the Erlanger Police Department.
Jericho and Helms had been in nearby Cincinnati, Ohio the previous night for this week's SmackDown taping. Jericho has been posting messages on Twitter all day with no mention of the incident.
Both were bonded out of jail.

when Helms was accused of "striking" some people, i'd like to know exactly what "striking" means. are we talking a barage of punches? slapping? backhanding? what exactly is "striking"?
while i personally expect Helms & Jericho to be in the doghouse for this (they never catch a break anyway), realistically, i would think that the punishments would be relevant to how serious this is.
the public intoxication end of this will likely end up with a fine & suspended jail sentence.

Actually, putting them in the Straight Edge Society would be perfect. What better way for a group of heels to get over than by being hypocrites?! Like Mick Foley once said, "Cheap heat? Yes, but heat nonetheless."

Did Helms tell the woman "Stand back, there's a Hurricane coming through. GET OUTTA MY WAY BITCH!"

haha I wonder. At least they were bonded, but IF WWE were smart, they would give Jericho less of a push, and Hurricane even less air time, as if that was possible.

Considering this is Jericho's second incident in a year and change a suspension would be warranted...but it won't happen. Let him go to TNA and let his character bore us all there.

IIRC, the video clearly showed that the fans in that previous incident were trying to mug and attack him, and the security wasn't doing a damn thing despite Jericho clearly yelling at them to do so, and when he went to swing out of self-defense, he didn't realize that it was a female fan behind him.

I don't care if it was self-defense or not. Jericho's actions then were inexcusable (because they only served to make a bad situation worse) and you'd think he'd be smart enough to stay out of situations like that. Obviously he isn't.

Obviously he isn't. *shakes head* Excuse because I'm going to have to type this in all caps so that you can understand. HE WAS SIMPLY TRYING TO LEAVE THE ARENA AND GOING INTO HIS CAR WHEN SECURITY WAS NOT DOING THEIR JOB TO KEEP A MOB OF ANGRY FANS WHO DON'T REALIZE HE'S ONLY PLAYING THE PART OF A HEEL ON A SHOW WERE TRYING TO MUG HIM. SO IF SOMEONE WERE TO A PULL A GUN OUT, HE SHOULD JUST LET THEM SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD BECAUSE HE "GOT HIMSELF IN THAT SITUATION?" GEEZUS S. CRIPES, MAN!

I love the Jericho mugshot, well both of them but his especially. Even drunk and being picked up for public intox, he still looks cocky as Hell. Awesome.

Obviously he isn't. so, you're saying that the other people were completely justified in their behavior, during the first incident? seriously? even in my drunkest day, i can't shove my head up my ass far enough to seriously come up with such a diluted opinion. next, you're going to say that if a woman beats on a man, that she'd be justified in doing so & the man would have to sit there & put up with it. i think if you had been in Jericho's spot, you probably wouldn't have handled things nearly as well as he did. most people don't.
