Matt Margera, clad in his jeans and black leather jacket with a grey Metallica T-shirt underneath, enters the locker room that he and his wife, Wench, share. Matt looks around at their locker room. Something catches his eye... Wench never put anything from her past inside the locker room, not even replicas of championship belts she's won in past promotions, or posters from past promotions that she's wrestled in. Even the posters of Matt and Wench posing together from when they were in the WRF, NAWA, and when they first helped found SNW have been taken down. The only thing Wench has inside the locker room, other than amenities such as video games, DVD players, etc, are her Von Erich Memorial Championship belt and a poster of her and Matt posing, with the picture having been recently taken. Matt looks over to his right, and sees that he has his NAWA World Championship replica belt, his PCW World Championship replica belt, and his GWX United States replica belt. He still has posters of his past up, such as one with him, Bam Margera, Tony Hawk, and various other skateboarding personalities advertising the World Destruction Tour. Another poster advertises an upcoming WRF show where he took on Death Strike in a steel cage match. Yet another poster shows Matt posing with Angie, an old friend of his who had been a valet in the Texas indy wrestling scene, and had worked some matches with him in the WRF.
MATT MARGERA
"No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize."
I guess I didn't quite bury everything from the past, did I? Still have some redecorating to do, it seems. After all, if I live in the past, then I can't move on with my career, which has taken a turn and lands me in an eight man tag team match, teaming with three men that I loathe with a passion, two of them being opponents of mine in the Balance of Power Scaffold Match at WrestleStock II. First is James Jackson, who likes to call himself "The Modern Day Hero." Takes pride in being the most hated man in SNW, and claims to be the absolute best in this industry. Well just how did the "absolute best" fare recently when he took on my wife for the Von Erich Memorial Title? Oh, that's right, he lost.
Now we turn our attention to Dumb and Dumber, aka Jack Clinton and Chris P. Mr. Clinton, you're just like Peyton Manning. You do great when it's any other match. But once everything is on the line, you choke... well, at least here in SNW. And then there's your buddy Chris P. For someone who's so white, he sure does have a Latin temper. And those are my partners.
We take a look over at the other side of the ring, and we see three men who I wish I had been teamed up with, and one lost soul that doesn't know that his way in this world is through Matt Margera. First let's take a look at Andy Lionheart, who fancies himself as the "New Wave of Destruction." A wayward soul for sure, and one of my opponents at WrestleStock II. He reminds me of me in a way. He's willing to sacrifice his body in order to get what he wants. Out of everyone in the Balance of Power Scaffold Match come WrestleStock II, I see him as the biggest threat to me winning.
Then there's Alexander Draven, who's been teaming up with Andy Lionheart as of late, and from what I've seen, the two of them have garnered some success as a team. Draven is someone else I would've loved to have been paired up with. You see, not only is he willing to sacrifice himself to win, he's also as ruthless as they come. He says he doesn't want to be anything like his brother. What he doesn't realize is that he's better than his brother, and may be a tad more ruthless. And that's what I like about young Alexander. And unlike his brother, I'm sure Alexander will actually stick with it when the going gets tough.
And we cannot forget the man once known as Omerta, who has also put behind him the past that had shackled him down. As Tyler Guevara, his eyes have been opened, and now knows the path that he must take. While I stand by my statement that Andy Lionheart is my biggest threat at WrestleStock in the Balance of Power Scaffold Match, Tyler Guevara is a dark horse pick, if you will. He has the tools to make it in this business. I mean, you don't win the Von Erich Memorial Title on two occasions, with one of those occasions being decimating the formidable Cyanide, by accident. But while he now has direction, it seems that he still doesn't have that sense of urgency. Maybe he'll prove me wrong.
But then those three are stuck with Versus Vince. I'll admit, the kid's got spunk. But his attitude is going to hurt him in the long run. Vince, Gordon Heath made you the offer of a lifetime, and you practically spat in his face, much like these non-believers that defy their Almighty Lord, cursing him for not having a better job, a better life, or what have you, when it's their own fault for not having the sense of urgency to follow what their Lord is trying to tell them and go in the direction they need to go. But Vince, just I do have some mercy left in me, so I would love nothing else but for you to accept me into your life as your lord, because your way in this world is through Matt Margera. I look forward to Saturday night at the Gordietorium, then move on to WrestleStock II on March 27, where I will fulfill my father's will. But now, I must finish burying the past.
Matt takes one final look at the posters and replica belts of his past. He starts off by tearing down the posters. Turning his attention to his replica belts, he sees a baseball bat that Wench had left behind in hopes that Matt would use it to destroy the championships of his past. He approaches the bat and picks it up. He then walks over to his past replica belts, and brings the bat down hard on them, destroying the belts as the scene fades out.
