Well by judging from the poll I posted earlier about whether we should have new themes for the two TV shows, it looks like we'll be having new theme songs coming our way.
Also, after WrestleStock, I will give everyone plenty of time to change their bios to reflect the bio template. I hope I'm not coming across as an ass in this regard. It just makes things easier for us when writing matches when we look at the bios for movesets, entrances, etc., and everything looks uniform.
Something else Sam and I discussed tonight while writing... SNW will be going in a more ECW-like direction(and we're talking old ECW, not the recent stuff Vince shoved down our throats). That means we'll be pushing the envelope a bit more. A bit more violence, possibly more adult oriented storylines, etc. This also means that we will practically be throwing out the rulebook... NOT the efed rulebook. The wrestling rulebook. This means that we will be throwing count outs and disqualifications out the window. We barely ever used those anyway, so why have them now?
Now even though we will be going in a more ECW-like direction, language in RPs will still be judged according to the characters, like would it suit the character to cuss like a sailor, or would it suit the current storyline, etc.
Lastly, we want to place emphasis on people doing their best to contribute to the shows. Posting your promos is the meat and potatoes of what you all do here in an efed, but as I'm sure as a lot of you have noticed, shows are getting posted either into the wee hours of the night, or the next day. Part of the reason for that is that not only are Sam and I(the only main writers right now, btw) writing matches, but we're also writing up promos for your characters. Now there has been the rare instance where we might've muffed up someone's character, which is the last thing we want to do, and as Freak can attest to, I am more than willing to go back and edit the show to correct my mistake. However, to avoid ever having to do that, think about the possibility of submitting your own segment to me via PM to be used on the show. You and someone you're feuding with could collaborate on a segment to help advance a storyline. I'm not looking for some twenty minute talking segment that goes on. But a nice backstage promo here and there would be nice. Also, you wouldn't need to worry about format if you're submitting a segment, as we're not expecting those to be long and I can easily edit the format in. Think of it this way... the more you contribute to the shows, the more you will get pushed. You can also submit strats(strategies your wrestler may use) if you like. Remember that anything you're submitting for the shows must be submitted to me.
Just some stuff I needed to share with you all. Oh, and Sam and I will be finishing up WrestleStock tomorrow. I'm going to go ahead and go to bed now and write up the main event tomorrow morning, and hopefully we'll get this sucker posted before WrestleMania so that you all can read the show and watch WrestleMania on the same day.
Feel free to leave your thoughts about the changes that are coming here in this thread. I really want to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions.
