OK, so I've been doing RP feedback on the OOC threads for each show trying to provide a little insight as to what I personally like and dislike about the promos of the week. However, now I need to hear from you guys. What is your take on the feedback? Do you think it's helpful, do you think it's overly critical? I'm asking because I'm doing it not to glorify myself and get my post count up, but because I want you guys to come away from it better RPers. So I'm asking you, the RPer and client, what you think of it. Help me improve so I can help you improve. Obviously the poll answers are a bit vague, so if you have something to say I'd really appreciate posting it here in the thread.

I actually hadn't noticed, but now that I know you're doing it, I shall partake in reading it. I personally like feedback on my rps because everyone runs their efed a little differently, and every writing team is looking for different things to determine who is going to win. Seeing as how I am not, to my knowledge, a mind reader, I would like to hear what you guys think and would like to know how I can make my promos more acceptable to you guys and thus win more often.

The main concern I have about the RP feedback is the lack of personalization. Since we are booking a lot of people on the cards, my attention to detail might be a little off. I'm considering turning it more into personalized feedback, where if you want advice you can PM me and I'll basically analyze your RP(s) like a novel and give you a more detailed breakdown as to your own skills. I've seen that done at other feds.

I actually love the feedback, and I'd really like it if that would continue.

I'm in the boat of it should be in PMs and only if we ask for it.

I'm gonna add my 4 dollars and 2 cent to this, as I've been reading up on all the feed back recently I think it's beneficial to anybody who wants to improve themselves and it's good to see your still doing it Sam ^^
Now personally I think your feedback should be generalised in the OOC board so people know the general mistakes they are making then offer them the option for a more indepth feedback if they pm you and request it that way those who want to know the details of what you like what you think they could improve on is only know to them and not everyone else.
Feed back is always a good motivator for any writer.

I didn't do it this week simply because I wasn't sure how much of a impact it was making, and the more I thought about it the more I really wanted to get your thoughts on it. I didn't want to do it and not know if I was A) Wasting my time because people didn't read it and B) If I wasn't helping the people that did take the time to read it. My next followup question is one I thought of while I was working on things today: What exactly do you want to get out of RP feedbacK? Are you wanting breakdown of the voting on your match, like why person A win or why person B didn't, or are you looking for actual positives and negatives about the RP? And also how specific do you want your advice? Obviously if you PM me and say "I really want a breakdown of my RP, because I want to improve" then I'll obviously take more time to stop down and nitpick it. So tell me now what exactly you the SNW RPer looks for in your feedback.

I think maybe a basic post of why wrestler a beat wrestler b in the ooc is good like silvus said for everyone's general feedback so they can see what mistakes not too make, but then have the option of whether they want a pm where you nitpick would work best.
but thats me personally

i also think that silvus is on to something. a general statement in the ooc area would be good, in most cases. a personalized statement could be requested, via pm.
