Even with 4 Up coming upon us, there is just as much going on outside the ring as always, this time involving former WRF wrestler, Chris Vallely. Anybody who knows the history of Chris Vallely knows that there is no love lost between him and several SNW personalities, specifically Matt Margera, Wench, Gordon Heath and the Sports Nutz. When the WRF closed down, SNW co-owner Gordon Heath made it known that despite any differences he had with any WRF competitors, he was more than willing to allow any former WRF wrestlers to sign with SNW. Soon after, Chris Vallely came out with some rather inflammatory comments directed at SNW, saying that he wouldn't sign with a company who "had an owner that only looked out for himself and his circle of friends." The Excellent Gordie was rather irate with the comments, but used his best judgment and chose not to respond. However, on her myspace blog, SNW co-owner Codi Shane had this to say:
"I am sorry that Mr. Vallely feels the way that he does about Gordie. Unfortunately, Mr. Vallely seems to have hit the nail on the head as it concerns Mr. Heath. That is why I bought 50% stock in SNW, so that Mr. Heath couldn't abuse his power like he's been known to do. Mr. Vallely will be glad to know that Chris Angel is our current Texas Heavyweight Champion, and he's certainly not within Mr. Heath's circle of friends. And Mr. Angel will be defending that belt against Jack Clinton this Saturday night at 4 Up. Believe me, Mr. Heath would love nothing more than to figure out a way to strip Mr. Angel of the Texas Heavyweight Title, and take away Mr. Clinton's #1 contendership. However, that is not going to happen. Also, there will be an election to vote for the President of SNW. The SNW President will be making most, if not all of the match-making decisions, leaving Mr. Heath and I to take care of other matters involving SNW. Despite what Mr. Vallely has had to say about SNW and Mr. Heath, he is still more than welcome to come wrestle for SNW, if for nothing else than to prove to his naysayers what a worthy champion he is."
