Rumour is going around backstage at this weekend's 4 Up PPV that Adriana Samu is petitioning her fellow SNW roster-members about participating in the second annual NAWA's A Weekend To Remember show, saying that she's already received word from TNA and WWE that they will allow their roster to be involved in the tribute show.
Samu herself has mentioned that she is aiming to hold the show in Vancouver at the Scott Anderson Arena on the weekend of June 26 and 27, but also said that she is unable to confirm those dates absolutely at this time.
Samu said that this year's show will be a tribute to all the Canadian wrestlers that have died over the years, broadening the focus from the four wrestlers (Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, Scott Anderson and Andrew Martin) honoured last year.
All proceeds will once again benefit both Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) in both Canada and the United States, and the show will include inter-promotional wrestling matches as well as musical performances.
More information can be found on NAWA's website, z10.invisionfree.com/NAWAfed/index.php?act=idx, as it becomes available.
**OOC: If any of you are interested in the joining the show again this year, please head over to my site, link posted above. You will have to sign up if you haven't done so in the past, and once the official date is confirmed you can start signing up for matches. Just like last year, if you want to write your own matches, that's great, otherwise I'll just write a quick little results for you. If you are part of another efed that has some former NAWA or FCW people, please feel free to pass this invitation along. You will be able to challenge and sign up for matches with wrestlers from real promotions, as well (WWE, TNA, etc). I will post the show on NAWA, but I will link it here. Thanks!**
