This past Sunday, Ring of Pride recorded it's first ever supershow, Out for Blood: King of the Mountain. The California fans came out for what ended up being one of the most memorable RoP shows ever that was capped off with the crowning of the first Southwestern Heavyweight Champion!
Arianna Millar won the First Blood Battle Royal and earned a future Texas Television title shot. "Pink Perfection" herself managed to overcome the odds and outlast Ace Andrews, The Last Prince, Murder, Scotty Paine, Tyler Ebonson and of course......Fritz Leiter to earn herself a future title match.
The Superfans remain unbeaten. Marc and Mark took on Jason and Taco Belmont in a tag team match and ended up coming out the victors and taking over the number one tag team rankings slot in RoP. After the match, the Brotherhood of Darkness would open their mouths and insert their feet as they'd end up having a scuffle with "Ballistic" Bryan Deas and subsequently are now gone from Ring of Pride.
Your True King has officially arrived. Alexander McIntyre made his in ring RoP debut by taking on former nemesis "The Diamond" Stephen Saint in a best two out of three falls match. Saint got the first fall with McIntyre getting the second via submission with the Last Temptation. In the third fall, it would be the influence of RoP Owner Simon Sensation, who distracted Saint, that would ultimately lead to a Hail to the King from McIntyre and a win for Your True King, though this thing between Simon and Saint seems far from over!
Dillon D'Angelo proved just how "deadly" he is. Well, maybe not exactly. But Dillon and Stu-E Price finally locked up after weeks of bickering between them. In the end, it would be Dillon using Stu's trunks to roll "England's Favourite Wrestler" up that would lead to D'Angelo's first win ever in an RoP ring.
The First Lady of RoP reigned supreme! Shawna Rose came into her match against Lucas Peek with revenge on her mind and her Texas Television title on the line. Lucas came at Shawna and gave it everything he had, but in the end it wasn't enough as Shawna would catch him with a Princess Crown and retain her title!
And the King of the Mountain is.......... In a hellacious King of the Mountain match filled with death defying leaps and jumps and huge, impactful landings, we'd see Anilya Gaian go through the penalty box, we'd see Dominic Zubrowka and Crazy Crazy Millar take a spill from a ladder to the outside of the ring, we'd see several people get thrown into a ladder wrapped with barbed wire, CCM and SuMa would have their ladder tipped over and go through several tables outside of the ring and Anilya Gaian would get a Big Bang off the top of a ladder and through the ring by Dominic Zubrowka. But as Dom was doing this, Ronin would climb the other side of the ladder and hang the Southwestern Heavyweight title belt, becoming the first champion and some would say.....steal the match right out from under Zubrowka!
