JD, here's the problem I have with your statement. Yeah, it took Rock awhile to find a bankable gimmick- hell, he was basically forced to by fan reaction to his character originally. But you know what? Once he did, it didn't change. And as far as I'm concerned, the fans would STILL buy into it to this day if he was still wrestling. And yes, Stone Cold's character went through several stages of evolution but it was still the core character that he still tears the house down with whenever he makes appearances.

Jericho reminds me a lot of Mick Foley's character changes toward the end of his WWE run. He's just gotten way too boring and generic and quite frankly, they're not utilizing him properly by keeping him in this gimmick which doesn't make me want to watch him. Like I said before, Jericho's character now doesn't make me want to watch him wrestle. It's an ineffective way to use one of your more recognizable talents.

I thought Jericho's stuff in WCW was a lot better than his wise cracking gimmick in WWF. The gimmicks may have been similar, but I thought it worked better as a heel, which is what he was in WCW as opposed to WWF, where he was more face imo.

you do make asome points, freak......namely, Jericho's talents are with his ability to make the smart ass comments. he's far too limited to what he's doing, when he's serious.


i also agree with SiMox on the point that Jericho did a better job in WCW then WWE.

Honestly, that's news to me because I believe Jericho has been mostly heel since he was in WWE.

What he is saying is wise cracking Jericho in WWE has been mostly face. As to his whole douchebag wise cracking thing in WCW he was a heel. He easily could of been bigger if not for the well rest is history.
