the timing is suspicious, to say the least. she may be justified in her claims, but that's really a different argument.
another issue that i find odd is that Martha's only now discovering that WWE has used Owen for monetary gain, including the Bret Hart DVD from several years ago. i can understand missing a lot of stuff, as she can't possibly keep her eye on WWE at all times. but, you'd think that someone would've put 2 & 2 together when the Bret Hart DVD came out.
seriously, you'd think that some of the DVD's would've gotten noticed by her, with all the hype that they would've received, especially in Calgary.

I really hate to say it considering her tragic loss and all, but at the same time, considering all the money she's gotten out of WWE to begin with, this screams of what former radio personality Kevin Blanford would call a "money grubbing bitch."

at the same time, that money was supposed to compensate her for the loss of her hubby. it doesn't count money that's supposed to go to her estate for the use of Owen's likeness & other trademarks, which she does have legal rights to. if i had the legal rights to certain intellectual properties, i'd be pissed if someone started using it without my permission (or without giving me something for it).
legally, if she can prove her case, she has the right to be paid.
