"Thunderstruck" by AC/DC hits, and the crowd boos their lungs out as "Kid Thunder" Alex Daniels comes out from behind the curtain. Daniels has a smug look as he arrogantly walks down to the ring.
Monica Deluca: The following is a triple threat match, first fall to a finish. From Toronto, Ontario, Canada and weighing 220 pounds, "Kid Thunder" Alex Daniels!
Mark Followill: Alex Daniels has quickly become one of the most despised men in all of SNW, not just among the fans, but also among the talent and behind the scenes employees of SNW.
Jason Martel: Jealousy is a terrible thing, isn't it?
Mark Followill: And what's with all these Canadians thinking that they're better than everyone else?
Jason Martel: Well they are.
Mark Followill: Then explain Celine Dion.
Jason Martel: OK, you got me there.
Daniels enters the ring and takes off his sunglasses, orange leather jacket and orange headband. He hands them to the ring attendant and tells him to make sure nothing happens to his gear or else. "Stillborn" hits, and the crowd gives a big pop, cheering on Andrew Smith as he appears from behind the curtain and walks down to the ring.
Monica Deluca: From Harrisburg, PA and weighing 230 pounds, Andrew Smith!
Andrew enters the ring and goes to his corner as he and Daniels stare each other down across from each other in the ring. "I’m Shipping Up To Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys blares over the PA, and Sean O'Brien comes out, draped in the Republic of Ireland flag. The crowd gives a decent pop, but there are also some loud yahoos yelling cat calls at him.
Monica Deluca: And from Boston, MA and weighing 235 pounds, Sean O'Brien!
O'Brien enters the ring and stands on the far turnbuckle, spreading his arms wide with the flag across his shoulders. He steps down from the turnbuckle and folds the flag and hands it to the ring attendant. Daniels walks up to O'Brien and slaps him in the face, then does the same to Smith. Smith and O'Brien look to each other, then proceed to both kick Daniels in the mid section and whip him into the ropes. Daniels bounces off the ropes and O'Brien and Smith throw him up in the air and over their shoulders, sending him crashing to the canvas.
Mark Followill: Double overhead back body drop by Sean O'Brien and Andrew Smith!
Jason Martel: Geez, why don't they just say that this is a handicap match.
Just as soon as Jason says that, Smith and O'Brien exchange right hand punches. O'Brien gets the upper hand with a series of stiff elbow strikes that backs Smith into the ropes. O'Brien with an irish whip, sending Smith bouncing off the opposite ropes. Smith off the ropes and O'Brien brings him down hard with a powerslam.
Mark Followill: ONE... TWO... Kid Thunder breaks up the pin with a kick to the head of Sean O'Brien.
Jason Martel: Remember, the first person to get a pin or submission wins the match.
Daniels picks O'Brien up and back suplexes him down to the canvas. With O'Brien down, Daniels holds him by the head and peppers him with a series of right hand punches. Smith grabs Daniels with a go behind and brings him down with a tiger suplex. ONE... TWO... Daniels kicks out. Before Smith can pick Daniels up, O'Brien grabs Smith and hooks him in a front face lock, followed by a series of knee strikes to Smith's torso. Daniels is back up and clotheslines O'Brien down, freeing up Smith. Smith grabs hold of Daniels, but Daniels gouges him in the eyes, followed by a scoop slam. Daniels with a knee drop to Smith.
Mark Followill: Cover by Daniels... ONE... TWO... And O'Brien with a shining wizard to the head of Daniels, breaking up the pin!
Jason Martel: Sean O'Brien has come to fight like any typical Irish drunkard!
O'Brien picks Daniels up and brings him down facefirst with a gordbuster. O'Brien with a cover... ONE... TWO... And Smith breaks it up with a double axe handle to the back of O'Brien's head. Smith follows up with an STF, but O'Brien quickly makes it to the ropes, forcing Smith to break up the hold. Smith picks O'Brien up for a Samoan Drop, but O'Brien reverses it into a crucifix pin. ONE... TWO... Smith kicks out. Smith back up, but Daniels catches him from behind with a release German suplex. O'Brien goes for Daniels, but Daniels catches him with a sambo suplex. Daniels goes for the cover. ONE... TWO... O'Brien gets the shoulder up.
Mark Followill: The determination of these three men is showing in this match!
Jason Martel: Whoever can pick up the win will have a strong case for being a #1 contender to Hellspawn's Texas Championship.
Daniels picks O'Brien up, but O'Brien with a punch to the mid section, then throws Daniels to the outside. Daniels slow to get back to his feet, and O'Brien comes flying over the ropes, taking Daniels down with a suicide plancha to a big pop from the crowd.
Mark Followill: That's why they call it a "suicide" plancha, because it takes you out as well.
Jason Martel: For once, an astute observation from you.
Both Daniels and O'Brien slowly get up, but as soon as they do, Smith comes flying through the ropes with a suicide dive to a big pop from the crowd, and all three men are down. Referee Danny Travers can't really count anybody out as it's triple threat match. Daniels is the first one to try to get up, picking up Smith and rolling him into the ring. Daniels picks O'Brien up and drives him facefirst into the ring apron, then rolls him into the ring. Daniels with a cover on O'Brien... ONE... TWO... O'Brien gets his foot on the ropes, and Daniels right away goes for a pin on Smith. ONE... TWO... Smith gets his foot on the ropes and Daniels pounds the mat in frustration. O'Brien grabs Daniels by the head and drives him down to the canvas with a DDT. O'Brien then stomps Daniels, and makes a circle of stomps around his body.
Mark Followill: Garvin Stomp by Sean O'Brien!
Jason Martel: He stole that from Randy Orton!
Mark Followill: Orton stole that from Ronnie Garvin!
Jason Martel: No he didn't. When he was a little kid, Randy taught that move to Ronnie Garvin!
Mark Followill: Oh don't be ridiculous!
Smith slowly got back to his feet while O'Brien delivered the Garvin Stomp. O'Brien turns and Smith kicks him in the mid section, followed by a powerbomb. Smith does a cutthroat motion, signaling that he's ready to finish O'Brien off. Daniels sneaks up behind Smith, turns him around and nails him with a Wrist Clutch Fisherman's Buster!
Mark Followill: Daniels with a cover! ONE... TWO... THREE!
Monica Deluca: Your winner of the match, "Kid Thunder" Alex Daniels!
Jason Martel: That's why it's important to have proverbial eyes in the back of your head in triple threat matches, because just like that, the match can end.
Daniels gets out of the ring and walks to the back, holding his arms up in victory.
