The scene opens up with the image of Simon Sensation sitting down in a chair and apparently playing a game of solitaire on a small stand while Johnny Moxie stands close by, kicking the hell out of a red Everlast punching bag hanging from the ceiling. After a few moments, Johnny stops and places his hands on his hips and looks down at the floor for several second before shooting a smirk at the camera.
Johnny: You know, several weeks back, Simon and I decided to come back to this company, we decided to leave our respective homes in Manhattan for me and Las Vegas for him to come out here to Texas. We decided to come back to Sports Nutz Wrestling after being away for months and months. And why did we decide to come back? Why did we decide to leave the guaranteed lives of luxury and notoriety that we had? Because, we're no strangers to Texas, we're no strangers to the wrestling history of this state. Texas has a rich heritage of tag team wrestlers. The Funks, the Von Erichs, Booker T and Stevie Ray, The Freebirds, The Fantastics, the Midnight Express, Gino Hernandez and Chris Adams, they all passed through this state at some point or another.
He runs his hand through his hair and shakes his head with a grin.
Johnny: We decided to come, to be a part of that tradition, to respect where tag team wrestling in Texas has been and lead it into the future and what happens to us? What do we get as a result of this?
He raises an eyebrow as Simon sighs and stands up, walking over to stand next to him.
Simon: We get a bunch of people, supposedly tag team legends and teams who were at the top of the Texas Tag title picture before basically displaying how much up their asses, their heads are. I don't know about you, Mox, but when I hear almost all of my opponents going "gee, we don't know much about these guys" when you have the kind of history in this place like we get and when you've been around a few weeks like we have, it really makes the majority of the SNW tag division look like......well, unprepared jackasses.
He glares at the camera and raises his lips in a momentary smirk.
Simon: And that's undoubtedly what we're against come Guys Night Out. A bunch of lazy, ignorant and moronic cretins that aren't even bothering to hide the fact that they're unprepared and not ready for what we bring to the table. I expected this from lazy asshats like The Destruction Crew, maybe even from The Enforcers of Pain, but Syco Boy, a veteran of the tag team wars here in SNW? The Alley Ratz, former Texas Tag Team Champs?
He shakes his head and crosses his arms over his chest.
Simon: Well, this makes me realize a few things. That our gamble of coming back to this company to save the tag team division is certainly needed. It also shows me that tag teams that this company has.......they couldn't care less about the art of tag team wrestling. They could give a damn less about the Texas Tag titles and bringing this division to a new level that it's never been at before. And that......it's going to end up being the one harsh fact that causes all of the other teams in this match to bust out and throw their cards down on the table in defeat this weekend at Guys Night Out.
Johnny nods.
Johnny: Because it don't matter if we start out the match in that ring, it don't matter if we come out last or any point in between. The fact of the matter is that our opponents......they've already made it clear just how far ahead of the game we are compared to them and how much more this match, this opportunity means to us as opposed to them. Guys Night out is going to be remembered for more than just a night where number one contenders to the Texas Tag titles were determined. This night is going to go down in history as the night that the tag team division in this company got reborn, the night that the old guard gave way to the new and the Texas Tag Team title picture met it's future.........
Simon nods.
Simon: And that future includes us and it's looking pretty damn good. You know, usually I wouldn't stand here with the prospect of taking on four teams looming in the near future and proclaim victory......but my opponents really gave me no other option with their lack of effort and lack of care toward this match.......
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out something red and turns it over in his hand. It's a poker chip.
Simon: Alley Ratz, Enforcers of Pain, Destruction Crew and Syco and Levetation...........you're luck has just run out!
He flicks the chip at the camera and as it makes contact, the scene fades.
