The scene opens up to the image of Simon Sensation leaning against a bright, colorful slot machine with his arms crossed over his chest and a shitty grin on his face as he looks right into the camera’s lens right off the bat.
Simon: Well, well, well, here we are. A few days removed from Guys Night Out and what do you know? Here I am, still standing in one piece and if anything, stronger than ever. I’ve got a Texas Tag Team Championship shot coming up in a few weeks, I managed to beat three teams that some consider integral spokes on the tag division wheel this past week. Life is good for Simon Sensation, it really is. But yet, as I stand here before you, it’s not to celebrate what happened at the last show. It’s to speak about what’s to come on the next show.
He pauses a moment and seems to shake his head with air of amusement.
Simon: Because some joker in SNW’s headquarters thought it would be funny to put me and Johnny in the ring against Cyanide and Soul Reaper, the current Texas Tag Team Champs in one on one matches this week at Onslaught. Well, I ain’t got any problems with this match against you, Reaper. In case you haven’t noticed by now, slick, Johnny and I are of the mind that to be the best and to establish yourself as the best, you have to beat the best and right now, even though Mox and I think you and Cyanide as nothing but old fossils, dinosaurs from days gone by in this company, you two are the champs right now.
He holds his left index finger up and grins.
Simon: I admit it, Reaper, you’re on top of the Texas Tag Team Championship mountain right now, but you better watch out. Because Moxie and I have started out ascent and we’re coming at you at a break neck speed. And whatever happens at Onslaught, it’s only the beginning of what we have in store for you two. It’ll only be a taste of some of the cards in the deck of cards that we’re going to be playing with. I know what you’ve done in this company, Reap. I know where you’ve been, what you’ve managed to do. You’re a two time Texas Tag Team Champion, you’ve even gone off on your own and made a name for yourself in singles action.
He taps the side of the slot machine with a grin and nods as he looks at it.
Simon: You captured the Texas Championship, but let me be the first to tell you that all of that means NOTHING in this match between us. All of that is nothing but cards that you held in hands in the past as far as I’m concerned. You want to impress me, Reaper? You want to make Moxie and I think that maybe when we get into ring for our title match at The Main Event that we may actually get in a fight, prove it to me in the ring come Onslaught!
He shakes his head and turns his gaze back to the camera.
Simon: Because I don’t care where you’ve been. All I care about is where you’re going and hell……if you can beat me in that ring this weekend at Onslaught, Reaper, I’ll stand face to face with you after that second bell and I will reach out and shake your hand for managing to outdo me on that night. I’m a man of my word and even though I doubt that you’ll even come close to rising against the deck that I’ve stacked against you, I give credit where it’s due, Reap.
He seems to snarl as he scratches his chin.
Simon: But like I said, I doubt that you’ll manage to overcome the odds. Because in case you haven’t noticed, man, Moxie and I have been rolling the dice week after week and we’ve been coming out with nothing but big winnings. Why should it stop this week at Onslaught with you? You want to make an impact, Reap, you want to show the world why Moxie and I ain’t in your league as far as challenging you for the Texas Tag titles go? It ain’t happening, man……
He shakes his head and smirks as he reaches over and grabs the lever of the slot, pulling it as the reels spin and land on a blue seven, a red seven and single bar. He nods at it and grins at the camera.
Simon: You can roll the dice, you can pull the lever as much as you want come Onslaught in an attempt to take me down but in the end, I’ll only end up showing you and even Cyanide why when it comes to the Texas Tag Team Championship title picture…….
He takes a card from his right sleeve and throws it at the camera, causing it to fade out on the click it makes on contact.
Simon: That SiMox are the ONLY kings in the whole damn deck of jokers!
