The camera centers on Angel's eyes, before zooming out to reveal more of his face. His hair was let down and he had a rough beard on.
"You'd think," he began, "that after demanding a match against yours truly, a two on one match of all things, that my brave opponents would at least have something to say. Still, days go by and not a peep from either of them leads me to believe that this was nothing more than a cheap shot at gaining some TV time.
While I have absolutely no problems with the boys in the back wanting to be in the forefront, I take personal insult if I'm going to be used. If you want me, you want to face me, you want your moment, then make sure you show up. Make sure you show up early and catch that early worm. Otherwise, be prepared to settle for the scraps because I am a man without mercy when it comes to my battles in the ring and as Bad Blood and Texas Champion, I am unstoppable and unrestrained.
See, a lot of people question my motives at answering this challenge with my impending match against Jack Clinton drawing near. Especially after last's week beat down, they wonder just what is Chris Angel thinking.
All I have to say is that if it were anyone else, he can back down. If it were anyone else, no one would expect him to accept the challenge.
But it isn't anyone else, this is The Dream we're talking about and I have built a career on fighting to my last breath. If Strickler and his butler Benson think they can take me out and make a name for themselves, I welcome the challenge. I welcome the challenge not only because I think they're incapable of it but because I am nothing, if not tenacious. And as premier Champion of this federation, I have more than just a reputation to live up to.
And Jack, if you're watching, don't for one second think I'm going into our match flying at half mast. I'll be at a hundred percent and it's going to take everything you've got and then some, to beat me.
Last week Jackson declared he was going to pin me and he didn't. While I am glad for the assistance Jack and Chris gave to me, the point remains. If this were a singles match, Jackson wouldn't be able to beat still. And neither has Matthews, who last I heard was the longest reigning SNW Texas Champion.
So Strickler, Benson, go into our match with that knowledge. You have a lot on your plate and unfortunately for you, I'm in no mood to be play nice. So when you do decide to show up, I suggest you pray,"
