Versus Vince
The scene opens in a room, full of wrestling posters. In the middle of the room is a bed shaped like a wrestling ring, with a New Mexico blanket on it. Versus Vince walks out of the corner and into the shot.
"This is almost exactly what my childhood room looked like. It isn't the exact same room because I can never go back to my childhood home after my parents' death. I am just happy to be doing what I am right now after being the kid I was, obsessed with wrestling. The way I am today was shaped by my determination to be more than just a kid who was obsessed. I wanted to be a wrestler. Not just act like one, or look like one. I accomplished my dream when I was signed to a little company in New Mexico at age 16. From there, I was brought up to Sports Nutz Wrestling, and when I told my girlfriend about it she laughed at the name. Didn't talk to each other for a few hours, but I was just being stubborn. To make a long story short, I am here for a reason, and that is to get known. I don't want championships, I don't want to win a lot, even though I do, I just want to be known, I want to be taken seriously. Right now I'm two things: the young guy, and the new guy. These are a horrible combination because it brings me down a notch. I've been brought down to nothingness, because of my age. To become I better wrestler I'm going to have to put my determination inside SNW and grow myself. Not only will I age, but I will no longer be new. There will be more and more wrestler, and I will become more and more of a SNW superstar.
On another note, last week, myself and Death Sentence defeated Tyler Guevara and the Young Gunz. I promised I would pin Tyler Guevara, and what did I do? I'll tell you, I did exactly what I said I would. I pinned Tyler Guevara, and even with the personality of Cyanide and Reaper, they understood the pin was mine. They hit the Death Sentence the the Express was only a few seconds away. This puts me another win closer to the Ballance of Power Scaffold match at Wrestlestock II. I am extremely excited by the fact that I get to compete with Matt Margera, Andy Lionheart, and such. But Saturday is my problem... Why in the world am I booked in such a match to be teamed with Andy Lionhart, Alexander Draven, and Tyler Guevara? Why are we against James Jackson, Jack Clinton, Matt Margera, and Chris P? These are open ended questions, that of which, have no specific answers.
Tyler and I have been a little spat lately. It all started when I defeated him, cleanly, I might add. Then, it dragged into something more because we were both booked in the Balance of Power Scaffold match at Wrestlestock II. I was surprised by the fact that I was booked in such a high profile match, and I went out of my way to take time out for an interview with the Sports Nutz. It came to my attention that if you turn down the Sports Nutz in anyway, they lash out and you end up looking like the bad guy. Somehow my defending myself against Charlie Dunpork and Gordie Heath brought Tyler Guevara's veins to the tip of his skin. His veins popped out, and as a result he attacked me from behind when I was perfectly fine, provoked, and using self-defense. Its too bad that Guevara wont be able to function on my team, 'cause I could've functioned on his... Whatever though, I'll do my best to keep the team in line. Me being the young one, it is a bit sad I have to do this...
Andy Lionheart is probably the best wrestler on my team. He's only nineteen years old, so I can connect to him by being a young wrestler in SNW as well. He seems to play guitar pretty well, and is said to be a good singer as well. Is there anything he can't do? I'm a bit jealous. He's a complete underdog, possibly even moreso than myself. I'm going to enjoy facing him in the Balance of Power Scaffold Match. Whatever though, he's a great wrestler, and the only problem would be how he and my other partner for Saturday will get along.
You see, Alexander Draven, you don't seem to be the type to hang around Andy Lionheart. And honestly, you haven't done much in SNW anyways. Yeah, sure, you hang around Wench, big deal. Go get a life, man, seriously. I'm 18 and I know you're career will go south faster than you could ever know. I don't have anything against you personally, it just troubles me that you are going to be on my team on Saturday. I don't think I can work that well with you, but I guess I can manage more than I will with Tyler Guevara on my team.
Moving on to my opponents, first off, James Jackson. James, I'd like to be the first to say, don't get ahead of yourself. You hate people so much that you're the best wrestler in the world? What in the hell is that supposed to mean? You're 27 years old, and you're trippin' balls, man. Seriously, I don't want to be mean, but wow... You sicken me. And how did you graduate from the Hart Dungeon? Do you even have a heart? How many titles have you held anyway? No, wait, don't tell me, I want it to be a surprise. If you're an Anti-Hardcore Icon, then why do you seem so Hardcore? I know you're now an icon, but why are you not a Hardcore Icon when you're hardcore. Surely you're hardcore enough that the hardcore cancels out the icon...
And the next opponent, Jack Clinton. I respect you, Jack, and I am very proud that you changed your old ways when you did to become the lovable wrestler you are today. I think that you are definetely a great competitor, and I look forward to facing you on Saturday. I just want to say that this match is going to go to my team, so you'll probably want to just put on a show at this point. I mean, I have Andy Lionheart. Tyler is gonna drag the team down, but I got Alexander Draven too... So you can believe the win will go your way, but it wont. I am going to say now, that I've got the odds stacked against me at Wrestlestock II, but on Saturday, the win is ours.
Chris P, it'll be an honor facing you. You've done everything, haven't you? You've won world titles, and so much more. I know you think that all these titles mean so much, but I'd have to say that you wont beat me, or anyone on my team, because its only a matter of time before I reach the top. When I do, you wont even be able to touch me.
Enough about everyone else though, let's move on to the 'legendary' Matt Margera. You trained with the Sports Nutz, big deal. You know what they did to me? They set me up in a live interview. That sickens me 'cause I was really hoping it wouldn't have to be like that. I was ready for a full fledged interview and because I didn't want to go under their dark light I was attacked and such. Matt, I saw you disrespect me. You said that I was the worst on my team for Saturday. Well, guess what, Matt, just because I turned down the men you trained under, doesn't mean you're better than me. Maybe I just didn't want to be another Matt Margera. Bam's cooler anyway. And you're wife, I probably shouldn't say this because I am in a serious relationship, but man would I like to get me a peice of that! But you winning a title and skipping out a company doesn't seem very loyal. How do we know you wont leave the Sports Nutz? Yeah, sure, you and Gordie Heath were the co-owners, so what. I am going to make sure that you and Tyler are my targets at Wrestlestock II. I'm going to make sure that, if I don't win, neither will you. See what disrespect gets you? To make a long story short, my team will win on Saturday."
The scene exits the room on a very determined Versus Vince.[/center]
