The scene fades into the home of Wench and Matt Margera where they are in the living room playing SNW 2010 on the Wii. Wench is standing and yelling at Matt to get off her and Matt's laughing at her. The camera pans to the screen where Matt is pinning Wench on the game and wins the match. Wench sits on the couch and pouts a bit.
MATT: Awwww, come on Kat. Don't pout because I didn't give you your way and let you win.
Wench sticks her tongue out at Matt who tackles her and starts tickling her until she begs for mercy. He stops and pulls her into his arms.
MATT: You know you're better at the real thing than at this game. Your problem is you just push random buttons and I KNOW what to push to do the moves.
Wench nods.
WENCH: I suppose you are right. Come Wrestlestock I won't be playing a game. It'll be the real deal and I don't plan on losing.
Matt nodded and switched off the game and gazed at Wench.
MATT: You've got this match. You've already beaten him once and he's a desperate man wanting gold. Desperate men don't exactly think or use their common sense.
Wench chuckled.
WENCH: You are assuming a lot there.
Matt tilted his head.
MATT: What do you mean?
WENCH: You are assuming Alex Daniels actually HAS common sense.
MATT: Right. Right. Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about this. I mean, you managed to defeat James Jackson.
WENCH: Yes, and he was a much bigger challenge than Daniels has been or ever will be. I'd almost go as far as to say Jackson was the toughest opponent I ever had to face. And a major difference is, in that match, I went in NEVER having faced him in a one on one situation before.
This match is quite different as I have faced...and beaten Daniels.
Wench paused a moment. Matt looked to her.
MATT: What is it?
WENCH: I just hope he doesn't get lucky and beat me like the Giants did the Cowboys last year, by a field goal in the last 4 seconds of the game.
Matt laughed.
MATT: Well, I don't think that will happen for two reasons. One, you aren't Tony Romo. And two, you'll be wearing a good luck charm.
Wench gazed at Matt.
WENCH: Good luck charm? What do you mean?
Matt grinned and pulled out a box and handed it to Wench.
MATT: I've been waiting for just the right moment to give this to you and I don't think there's a better moment than now. I bought it the day after you won the Von Erich Memorial title and wanted to surprise you.
Wench opens the box and inside is a diamond choker. Wench ran her fingers along it.
WENCH: Oh, Matt. Its beautiful. Will you help me put it on?
MATT: Not half as beautiful as you.
Matt picked up the necklace and fastened it around her neck. A knock at the door interrupted them. Matt frowned and went to answer it and returned with a tape and popped it in.
MATT: Gordie sent this. Said you might want to take a look at it.
The two watched as Alex Daniels spoke about her. She chuckled a bit.
WENCH: Had I known it was a theatrical performance, I'd have made popcorn. Does he honestly think he wants the title that's around my waist more than I do? Has he not paid any attention whatsoever to my career over the years? I've fought harder than anyone and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let some guy with a losing streak when it comes to winning titles, break that streak by beating me.
I held this title a mere two months last time and I've already stated I'm going to hold it longer this time. First of all, the one thing you nor anyone else in this business will strike in me is fear. I'll not be intimidated by you nor anyone else regardless of how big and bad you seem to think you are.
Secondly, NO ONE has ever handed me ANYTHING. Everything I gained in this business, I gained on my own. I've fought just as hard if not harder to gain any title I've held. I've had to work harder.
Everyday I train. Everyday I work out and learn new moves. Did you ever stop to think the reason I'm more successful is because I'm just BETTER than you? If you want to say Gory carried me when we were tag champions, SAY it, but I know I pulled my own weight and MY opinion is the one that matters.
So, go ahead and make all the threats to my health and well being all you want. Like most men, you're just blowing out hot air. At Wrestlestock, not only will I humiliate you again and beat you, I will remain the SNW Von Erich Memorial Champion.
The scene faded out as Wench shut off the tape and disappeared from the room.
